Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with 'mones helping leadership and or cooperation with youth, or effects on them.

I am an Eagle Scout (now an Assistant Scoutmaster in our troop now), and am always teaching new skills, activities, etc to the boys. Last week I had a particularly un-cooperative kid who it took me 4 times as long as it should of to teach some knot-tying skills because he has this attitude lately that he’s too cool for scouts and doesn’t want to learn anything. I got him to learn it eventually but I don’t want to have to practically force him everytime cause I don’t want to drive him out of the troop. I have very good social/people/leadership skills, am still well connected to youth and this is the first major roadblock I’ve had cause this kid has adopted such a thick persona (you know how kids/teens change completely almost every month sometimes!).

What would be a good combination for getting an even better learning atmosphere and encourage more cooperation for teaching youth? I guess this could be applied to mentoring and school situations too,
A314 comes to mind but I’m still new to all this.

A314 + IS + IH combines the commanding aura of A314, with the rapport building qualities of IH. IS brightens the mood of the mix.

I’d recommend IO, but it might be a little too playful of a product when working with kids. I could be wrong though.

I’d go with that. Thats my personal favorite mix when it comes to work. I need to get some more IH stat.

I’m with sigma. I even think a dab of Pure Instinct (contains -none) would work too.

Sigma’s mix sounds good: A314 + Instant Shine + Instant Honesty. You could also add EST if you can afford it - according to user reports, seems to have a comforting and magnetic effect, working especially well on males. You could try spraying EST if the kid if particularly uncooperative as I have heard it being referred to as ‘Instant Male Magic’ lol.

You could try a little -None but be careful with that. It may intimidate some of the kids and possibly cause aggression/bad vibes.

I would be careful about too much ‘comfort mones’ such as Alpha-Androstenol (the core pheromone in products such as [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) and Spaceland) without balancing it with something which signals authority like A314. ANol seems to give off a ‘wuss signal’ to some people and they may not see you as their leader. The kids may muck around a little too much when ANol is substantially present in the mix as well.

But I think A314 (or MX102 which has the same formula but in an alcohol spray format) + Instant Shine + Instant Honesty + possibly EST (if you can afford this one) could be a killer mix in your situation.

Wow, that EST is expensive! I’m sure I’ll get it eventually, but not right this moment..I have some of that stuff coming in the mail though 🙂

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! thanks for the warnings as well!

There’s a meeting every week, so I will report back on how things go if it shows up in my mail before tuesday night 😉

I use estratetraenol prior to performances. I dab a little under my nose before I step on stage. It ain’t a magic bullet but helps take the edge off. I originally bought Realm for that purpose but the amount of Estratetraenol was so tiny it didn’t do much for me.

As for strengthening your leadership persona, A314 may help. I’ve certainly had good results with it. However certain personality types may become increasingly defiant, even hostile as your alpha aura expands. I know as even in middle age I enjoy challenging authority. In fact I thrive on it. The more alpha the man the more I want to kick their ass (usually professionally or intellectually not physically). If I can’t beat them I look for a stealthy method of nailing them. As a teenager I was far worse. As I recall I was thrown out of boy scouts…

Yea I agree different things work in different situations.

With some people A314, may be your ticket to dominance over them. With others, A314 caused more problems for me than it was worth (perhaps with people for who A314 signals an old-style chauvinist, overbearing male vibe). With such people, Beta-Nol has proved to be much more effective in order to create a deep connection minus the power play. Sometimes it’s better to play the little guy.

On the other hand I have found in a work environment where you are younger and less experienced than many others, A314 might be very useful indeed for making one seem more ‘capable’.

I think something like Estratetraenol makes guys ‘behave better’ which is why I suggested it for an uncooperative male kid. People seem more comforted and relaxed when I wear high doses of Realm around them. This may be a more effective method of getting an uncooperative kid to do what you want rather than being the guy who people follow orders from no matter what.

Oh and Gegogi I definitely see that side of you on the forums where you like to be defiant.😛

Sleekll,

[Pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) may not be the best solution although they may help. I was a scout at one point and there were at least 2 of those kids in my troop. Unfortunatley they seemed to have poor home lives, and eventualy turned into criminals with age. One robbed an old lady for pills.

You may need to try being his friend instead of leader. Try to rub off on him, and attempt to boost his own self worth. He may just need to have a positive role model that isn’t authoritarian.

Many people with such dispositions seem to be angry with society, and feel that they are an exile. Letting him know that at least you value him could prove very effective in positively affecting his attitude, and maybe the outcome of his life. Who knows, after time he may come to enjoy the scout meeting and want to be more involved as well as interested in bettering himself and the people around him.

Good luck!
