# Can temperature harm phermones?

For example, FEDEX delivers the stuff on my door around noon and I am not home normally until around 5-6-7pm. Can it be harmed by sitting out in 30-40 degree temperature for a while? I didn’t know if it had a proper or recommended “storage temp” or anything like that? Otherwise its kept indoors/in a cabinet of course, but just wondering.

Just a simple physics question with a simple physics answer. No. The colder any substance is, the less likely it is to break down or degrade. The warmer the substance is, the more likely. And since [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) can stay stable at room temperature, you’re ok.

I keep mine in the fridge just to be safe.
