# Can you overdose on Instant Shine, and what would happen?

I would think its always possible to get bad reactions from using to much of something but in the case of [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) it would take a whole lot. Its safe to wear 1 to 5 sprays anything more then that and your just wasting product in my opinion. 2 to 3 sprays is the norm for most people.

OD means for most people that the product just wont work or people will avoid you more.

Haha.. this question is kind of like “How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of the tootsie roll pop?”

I don’t think it’s really possible _to_ overdose on Shine. Overdosing implies getting bad reactions. I can’t even think of the last person who told me they had a bad reaction from [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/). Is it possible to be too Shiny?

You can _megadose_ on Shine, though! (Which _is_ different from Overdosing)

Megadosing is the art of completely dousing yourself in pheromones, far beyond the recommended dosage, for the sake of science and insanity. Since Shine is about a 3-spray-per-ideal-dosage product for most people, a megadose would likely include something like 10 sprays of double strength. Do a forum search on “Megadose” and you’ll see some interesting results.

I’ve megadosed on shine, and it’s gotten me rolling on the ground in laughter.
