For anyone who does not know a friend and I had a looooong time dream of giving back and helping others. There are so many groups out there that are basically clearing houses for charities and keep “most” of the monies for “admin” fees. After years of prep work and taking the steps and drawing up the plans, our vision is finally coming true. We have started a charity to assist homeless persons by utilizing public education classes to teach that homelessness is a state of mind that can be changed by internalizing success. Basically a mentoring program to give back the mindset that you can do anything you choose to overcome any obstacle. We are not a drug and alcohol rehab, we have no affiliations with religion or politics. Our initial phase is to offer free classes to homeless, or anyone who would like to participate on: \ ***SOS session** - Informal meet and greet - Introduction - Powerpoint1 - Paperwork - Q & A - Contract with yourself - Sandwiches **Positive Thinking Session** - Affirmations - (Words have meanings) - Laws Of Attraction - Self Image3 - Who do you see the instructor as, what animal. Get the individual to see who they are. Draw a picture - Importance of laughter - Power of Now - Excuse generation With other “sessions” based around these Main course materials addiction parenting confidence financial advice goal setting Health Communication Each session will be autonomous of the other, with each point in the session being a separate meeting autonomous in itself. This way if you miss one you do not have to wait till the start of the next class to proceed. We will be serving food and beverages at the end of each session. All work that is being done is strictly volunteer and we already have some facilities set aside to teach in. Nobody is making any money and we pledge to utilize every dime for actual resources. The charities name is Beer and a Condom. Yes, we absolutely realize its a funny name but we are looking to tap into a market of individuals who are not looking to be associated with clearing houses, religions or politics. We will leave that for others, but we are unpretentious and the name has meaning which can be found on our website (still under construction) [Beer and a CondomBaaC - You Can Help](http://www.BeerandaCondom.org) Currently we are seeking a Tax Professional to assist us with our 501(c)3 IRS paperwaork. We are already recognized and incorporated in TN (where I live) as a non-profit. I also need a web designer proficient in WordPress to assist in the upkeep of our site. If any one has graphic artistry design capabilities I would super appreciate it if you could help us design our logo. We know what we want but do not have the ability to create it ourselves. Homelessness does not discriminate and can effect anyone at anytime. Many of you will not know this but I spent some time on the street sleeping on park benches in the city. It was the most difficult time of my life and the only way I ever got through it was changing my thoughts. Using the steps I learned, and countless others we have designed a series of sessions that have proven successful to give back that knowledge to the world. Please help if you can. Are work is volunteer and is not paid. According to IRS law we are tax deductible up to $5000 while preparing and filing our 501(c)3 therefore receipts are available for donations. We have the framework, now we need your assistance. This has absolutely nothing to do with Androtics or my job. Actually when I came to work with Jasmin I realized that dreams and visions can come true with perseverance and sweat. I’ve personally spent close to $6000 already making this happen. I want to show my appreciation for everything Jasmin has taught me and how much she has inspired me by herself being one of the kindest, most giving person I have ever met. You’re a goodman steve. I hope this all works out well and you help people change there mindsets so they can move foward in life instead of being stuck in a grind. I too was on the street at one point in my life, doing what you were doing. I must say it was also the hardest point of my life aswell, You feel so alone and despised upon by the world it’s sort of like being in a twilight zone lol. I actually thought id never get off the street until one day i said to myself " I CANT KEEP LIVING LIKE THIS " i knew inside it was only a matter of time before id die of either health problems, dehydration, hunger, hypothermia or even worse Murder. I did everything within my power to try to succeed and get off the street. I handed out countless CVs and cold called alot of buisnesses for a job. I eventually got there after a month or so but it was such a hard road to walk. Everytime you hear no it just lowers your morale even more, To the point where you start to think “Is this even worth it, Life, Being Alive, Living” (You may have experienced this moment steve) but all i can say is im glad to have made it to the other side you could consider it to be a form of character building although i wouldn’t reccomend it. Moving foward to see an initiative like this by a man such as yourself really makes me think there is still hope and good faith in this world espcially for the countless homeless people out there that nobody even notices, Let alone cares about. Good luck with that Steve. You are targeting a very specific group of people, who dont fall under the habitualists category. People I believe the ‘system’ has failed. If I had my way I would make it compulsory for schools to teach people about self awareness/confidence and how to live and interact in their chosen society how to pay taxes, were to get info from and useful things for everyday life. ---

I am totally down for helping out. I am very proficient in WordPress, XHTML, XML, CSS, .NET, etc. I have enough PHP experience that I can heavily customize themes but not enough to build my own from scratch. Absolutely amazing fantastic news today! Beer and a Condom is a funny name, with a very serious mission! It just surprises me that in today’s age in the modern world were banks are being bailed out, health-care is being proposed that people quickly have forgotten our worlds most vulnerable: the homeless. Beer and a Condom stems from having a few extra dollars to buy something as trivial as a beer, but not a few extra dollars to give back to humanity. I just found out, literally a few moments ago, one of the US’ most recognized clothing brands has offered their full support to design our logo. I got to admit I am on cloud 9 when they said our idea was “Fucking Brilliant!” Imagine my surprise hearing this from the Vice President of Marketing for this esteemed company. We should have a logo in a few days and really need someone proficient in “Flash” or HTML5 to make the logo pop on our site. I am so appreciative and humbled to know there are so many good people willing to make a difference and give back. AMAZING! ---

Sorry for the delay in getting back to all those who have asked to help. We just got our logo done and now will be calling to ask for the help offered. Working with Androtics takes up a lot of time and most days I work 12 hours or more. This is all done on my off time so I appreciate the patience. If anyone understands US IRS Tax law it would be greatly appreciated if you could help. ---
