Pherlure - Di-Dehydroepiandrosterone SCAM

Hi Everyone!

I am not currently a user of any of these products but have a friend who is and he intrigued me to look further into it. I did my own little research on the product he had, Pherlure, and here is what I found.

I did see a posting from a University of Chicago study on it, so, as one who is curious may do, I called the University of Chicago.

I made it through to Mindy who is the assistant of Martha McClintock. Martha is a psychology professor and is at the leading edge of [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) research. She is the reason Pherlure would want to have a University of Chicago study associated with its product as she is an expert in Pheromone research.

Here is what I was told:

“Di-Dehydroepiandrosterone is not a known chemical as far as they know. It simply does not exist.”
“As far as they know Pherlure’s story and claims have been fabricated along with this study Pherlure is using. The information was falsely produced and is not recognized by their dept or the school.”

So, basically, they have heard of Pherlure and the study and are simply fighting against the frenzy of information out there that is false. I guess they are seeking legal advice on how to counteract this but in the meantime, as the university wheels slowly turn in figuring out how to deal with it, Pherlure is scamming unsuspecting people out of millions.

So, buyer beware as is always the case. Usually if it is too good to be true and the miracle cure seems like it has found you, it may not be what it seems.

I hope this information is spread far and wide so the truth can be told! Please feel free to post this information anywhere you wish.

I am also including the information on the school so you can have a link to the truth.

correct me if I’m wrong here guys, but isn’t there real [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) in Pherlure, but not enough or they don’t diffuse through the air enough to be effective??

_Whistles_ Nice post!
The Pherlure debate has raged for a while now, but its mostly been a clash of “The chemical/pheromone doesn’t exist! look it up!” vs “Yeah say what you will; I’ve gotten hits off it!”
It still comes down to Pherlure and its users words against Other Phero-users and researchers, you’re right when you say that the marketing hype created by Pherlure has been absolutely amazing; these people could sell anything with their techniques!
Your arguement against Pherlure is still only your word vs Pherlure’s but I’m inclined to side with you, considering your extensive research and willingness to provide a source, not to mention I’m a user of Pherlure and haven’t noticed even subtle changes in people, smells nice though!
Who knows, you may have started a movement here, maybe a media release soon stateing that Pherlure is a scam.
Good work 😃

Nice work! 🙂 Rep points from me. It’s sad to know how many scams there are out there, not just online. Can we trust this world anymore?

I don’t know if you realized this at the time, but Martha McClintick’s study has had a pretty large impact on the phero world, and makes a strong argument for the influence of pheromones in human physiology.

Pherlure on the other hand, is as illegitimate as they come.

Here’s what I think of pherlure. (I’m the unlucky one who purchased pherlure before knowing about this forum)

Anyhow, it’s been a full week since using this product and I can’t find any reactions from anyone from work or anywhere else. But, I think the scent is effecting me to be little moody. I usually spray 1 to 2 at a time in 4 hour intervals daily at work.
At beginning, I had nigh expectations with pherlure judging from their advertisement, it sounded fantastic. Only to know now that it really does work for me at all. Do you think it’s too early to tell? Am I missing something here?

I’ll update more next week before I decide to return…

Ya’ I was surfing the web a week ago and a Pherlure window popped up. I stated all of this in the “Say Hello and Recieve $15” section. Basically, I did research on it too, and not only do they lie about their new chemical, but at the location of where they did there studies at. Now I’ve heard people say that it worked, but they also mentioned using other pheromones as well. Just glad to have found this site and other users responses to this product before I fell a victim.

Don’t waste your money on this junk. Save it for other pheros that are better. It had no effect it just smells nice, which is its only plus.
