Hallo boys and girls 🙂

I have a question which I can not answerded by myself because I am unable to detect mones and people around me may not know that I use [pheromones](https://a314.com/) :o thus I can not ask them.

Former I have used pheromones often on clothes and now I am a liitle bit unsure if these clothes do still smell like pheromones?

Is there a risk that clothes which have been washed 10 times and not applied with pheromones for 6 month at least, that these clothes has an effect / a smell yet, or are 10 washings and 6 months enough to delete all pheromones from the clothes?

Thank you very much in advance 🙂

Hopefully that amount of washing would remove the pheros but normal laundry detergent is less effective than good old hot soapy water and natural fibers can be worse than synthetic for binding/retaining - wool most of all. Scarves are the worst item for me and some did stay smelly for quite a while until I found the answer.

Which was giving them a soak in one of those “Oxy”- type detergents or a short soak in very mild solution of hydrogen peroxide would do for them very effectively.

Thank you mobocaster,

yes I use already a detergent “oxi action” which contains hydrogen peroxide. I hope this is sufficient for washing out all pheromones 🙂

If its not use a little fabreeze or natures miracle in the wash. These have enzymes in them that actually eat the pheromones and eliminate them completely.

Febreeze is one I have to watch - Badly irritates my skin. Don’t know Natures Miracle.

Thank you Tisha,

I am a little bit worried about residues, but not of this skin-irritation reason like mobocaster but that these residues kill all mones, which I apply afterward which shall work!

or is my worry baseless?

Use the bare minimum of the stuff to begin with and give it a double rinse (again, a tactic to minimise skin irritation) - IME most detergent manufacturers suggest you use way too much for normal dirty clothes. That should rid you of any residue.

Also avoid a very full machine, as that can promote residue.

I assume you use the dryer after washing ?

There are live enzymes in febreeze and natures miracle the heat of the dryer eliminates them so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Why do you like applying to clothes? Strong mones like heavy none mixes stick to clothes sometimes beyond wash cycles and you’ll get OD.

I have never had ANY success applying mones to clothes… Neck has always been my best bet.

I replied to another thread on how to remove pheros from the body. For that, you’d probably want strong surfactant/solvent/detergent + antimicrobials. For clothes, follow the soap company directions for removing oil stains. Pheros are often steroids. Soak the item in the strongest solution of detergent and hot water the fabric can stand for is long as it can stand. Test for colorfastness. A general guide is about 2 ounces of liquid detergent in one gallon warm water for 30 minutes. Wash normally and Air Dry. Heat drying will set the stain. The detergent surfactant binds to the phero molecule and pulls it from clothing fibers–hopefully.

As a general rule, try line drying any clothes that come in contact with pheros. Any residue that remains after washing will be heat set into the fabric, the same as with normal daily stains.
