A guy that is willing to plop down on a girl’s couch that he just met hours earlier, and pull out his unit is the same guy who pull’s it out in public and most would consider him to be a pervert. My take is he has serious issues and you would be smart to run as far away from this guy as you can.

I think you are a little late chiming in to all this 😉

Agree. This is very abnormal behavior … that’s one extreme dangerous demeanor indicator. In fact, I don’t wanna scare you, but I think that the cool way you dealt with it might have been what diffused him and kept him “sane”.

> Okay, so this afternoon I stopped at a restaurant/bar in a nearby town and had a couple beers. It was pretty dead, so I just chatted with the bartender, who was a pretty hot and nicely built fellow of mixed Hawaiian ancestry (late 20’s maybe?). Turns out we live in the same town, we talked about that and what part of town we each lived in. He also asked what I was doing later, I said just going home.
>
> Oh, and phero-wise I was wearing the remnants of an FTL sample (from a company I don’t know if I’m allowed to mention), a couple swipes of Nude (same about company) and a blast of EST, and Instant Honesty 4x in my hair sea kelp from after I showered this morning.
>
> So I leave and go home, check my email, have a couple beers, also applied a couple swipes of perfume ending in a honey cinnamon vanilla slightly incensey scent, just because I like to play with different perfumes, even when I’m by myself (bad move perhaps, though I didn’t know it then).
>
> All of a sudden someone’s out on my porch, and there is the hot bartender from earlier. I said, hey, whats up, he said he was just cruising and decided to stop by. I had felt comfortable talking with him earlier at the bar so I said come in and offered him a beer.
>
> Now, I live in a teeny tiny community where everyone knows everyone else, not like NYC or LA or somewhere where such actions would be totally unheard of. Its very different here, a totally different planet.
>
> We sat on the couch, and after not very long he started getting physical, or at least trying to. (I did NOT flirt with him or give him any sexual hints of any kind, I was cheerful and nice as I would be with anyone who stopped by). I squirmed away and made an excuse of getting another beer in the kitchen, and when I came back he was sitting on the couch with his pants scootched down and his hat over his lap 😮.
>
> I thought to myself, oh great, what the hell’s up with this? Out loud, I said with a cheery smile, hey what are you doing, pull up your pants, silly, we just met. He complied, but then after awhile, he sneaked open his zipper when I didn’t notice, and there was his weenie, peeking out again. He said I was so hot, he just couldn’t help himself, hmmmm, okay whatever.
>
> I had planned to make my first attempt at chicken cordon bleu, which he already knew from earlier conversations (he had even volunteered some advice, since he’d cooked it before), so I decided that I had best get busy with that. I invited him into the kitchen (and away from the couch!) and he started to help a bit, but then had to leave as he had another commitment (which I think was true but who knows). Though he might have left because he realized that what he wanted just wasn’t going to happen. He said he’d stop by again later or tomorrow, though I hope he doesn’t now.
>
> And the worst part is, this is NOT the first time this has happened to me. I have been in at least three other situations where a guy just had to show me his stuff (without IOI’s from me). Whats up with this? Why do guys feel so compelled to pull out their penises for my perusal? Don’t they realize all that does is to just chase girls away? Or do other girls actually like this? I don’t really know, I have never discussed this with a girl (except one gf who was around the night of one “showing” and she thought it was icky too, it had happened to her once).
>
> I would love to understand this behavior, or at least whats behind it, especially since it continues to happen to me. And the best way to deal with it, I’m not that offended, just uncomfortable. How does one deal with the cockshow syndrome without being totally mean and making enemies (who I am more than likely to encounter again around town).
>
> Uck.

Well he shouldn’t have just invited himself over and you shouldn’t have let him in. So there are two very wrong occurrences here going on from the very start.

Even if you were being flirtatious or whatever that does not give someone the right to just stop by. It’s creepy and stalkerish.

You also sent him the wrong signal by rewarding bad behavior! He comes over unannounced and you not only accepted it but invited him in onto the couch with you. Sorry there sillykitty but its a damn good thing it didn’t get out of hand. You would have had a very difficult time proving it wasn’t mutual.

Just like I attempt to teach the many men that cross paths with mine while learning social skills, there needs to be boundaries. If someone comes over my house unannounced they do not get inside. I work from home and this is my sanctuary and they are not invited in. You want to chat with me, use the phone to set up a time and place, but don’t just go barging into my life thinking your time is more valuable than my time.

Culture in rural hicksville and small towns is different from suburbs and cities. And she lives in the friggen sticks. Dad burn Hawaiian village. It looks like it’s still 1940! I lived in a small town and it was common to have unannounced visits. Really common. Super common. Did I mention it was common? Now I live in an urban jungle and nobody except close friends and family do that, and they usually call unless they happen to be driving by.

Whatever, the guy is a pervert and surely whips it out all the time. It wouldn’t surprise me if he does it at parties, malls, and bus stops near high schools.

I haven’t read this whole thread but I want to add my two cents about the “Friend Zone.” I have a lot of ladies in the Friend Zone and I don’t expect anything from them except what I would expect from my guy friends.

I read, from someone on here right before I stopped reading, that a woman puts you there only to use you. If that’s the case then it is you who has the issues if you are allowing people to use you. That’s not friendship, that’s abusive. I would ask why you (you being a generalization and not necessarily the poster of that stance) would stick around and be friends with someone like that? I can almost guarantee that you wouldn’t do that if it was a guy, so if you’re allowing it with a woman? Most likely it is the guy in that scenario allowing it because he feels that if he just bends to her will and shows her how wonderful he is he can ultimately fuck her. It’s a manipulative cycle that’s repeated over and over in society. The man is, IMHO, wrong because he knows that not only is it happening but allows it to so he can get something from it. Again not my idea of what friendship is.

With that said, the woman would be wrong too for allowing it and using it to her advantage to get things. Again not friendship.

It is the responsibility for whomever it is happening to to stop it. You have the right to ensure your own happiness. There is nothing wrong with wanting your friend sexually either. I have several girl “friends” who I want sexually, but right now I’m happy as friends. Some we have slept together and it has not worked out that way, others I would wish that one day we will get funky together. For now though I respect them and enjoy their company.

So how do I bridge the gap between pushing it from friendship to lovers? Its a tricky question, but just like Tisha’s husband did, I stick them in the friend zone. They are the ones who will ultimately make the move if they are interested in getting out. There’s plenty of fish in the sea.

Not too late for another lady to wander by the thread and wonder if guys just pull it out as a conversation starter…small town, big city doesn’t matter, this is borderline dangerous behavior.

I had a student with piercings and tatts on his dick. He routinely whipped it out for show 'n tell. Wasn’t hard and was made to look like a snake wearing a lip ring. Everybody in the drama production saw it at the cast party. Didn’t attract women, but then he seemed to be more into admiring himself in the mirror.

It really is a whole different planet here (lol, 1940’s is an excellent description), if I were in Boston or even rural Pennsylvania where I lived for awhile, I would not have let him in.

People are much more civilized and treat one another more respectfully here than in many more urban and modern places, but thats not to say that there aren’t creeps everywhere. Just a lesser amount of them. The general attitude towards life is much more laidback, casual and trusting, for good reason. If there were a lot of crimes and assaults, etc. here, people here would naturally be more suspicious and less trusting of one another.

Of course, it stinks because now I will be naturally more suspicious in the future, my cheerful open friendliness will not be what it was. Suspicion and doubt are such negative feelings that I really try not to harbor, but I suppose I have no choice now. ☹

I knew a guy who got his pierced and whipped it out at the local bar. The girls he was talking to when he had his momentary lapse of reason definitely did not want to see it and made that clear. All of us did as well. I guess he felt obligated to ignore everyone and do it anyway. The bouncer proceeded to “escort” him out by banging him into every stationary object with his bigger head. Then he was arrested for exposing himself in public and required to register as a sex offender after he spent 18 months in jail.

Not a good idea by anyone’s standards, but we all got a good laugh out of it and renamed him shorty. I’m not sure how it went over in prison though. I never talked to him again:o

The place I lived in, we didn’t bother to lock cars or house. Dogs actually dozed on the side of the road and there were no street lights. Nearly everybody packed–all pickups had gun racks–but nobody seemed to shoot people. Oddly, there were lots of bullet holes in mailboxes and street signs.

Ouch, that’s overkill and a gross waste of tax money. We paid $100,000 to keep him in jail for 18months? Damn. We still get streakers on our campus every year or two and a naked student is expected to run or dance across the main stage during closing night of drama protections. I’ve observed 2 moonings in my class as well as 3 streakings.

That is like, soooo 1970’s…hey at least you guys are a few decades ahead of where I am, they haven’t even gotten up to streaking here yet 😛

I agree but I should have made it a bit clearer. It was also a restaurant with families. One family had their 12 and 13 year old daughters with them! He had some issues prior too
