Back in the day I used to wear DRAKKAR, and I always got complements on how well it mixed with my chemistry… Ever since DRAKKAR dropped in quality and price it’s never smelled the same. I have looked for a replacement cologne, but I just can’t seem to find another good quality cologne that works so good with my chemistry as the original formula did… Does anyone have any ideas, that I could try out?? If you don’t remember what DRAKKAR smelled like, or have never heard of it, I found a description of it on a site and this is what it said:

Drakkar Noir Cologne by Guy Laroche, Launched by the design house of guy laroche in 1982, drakkar noir is classified as a sharp, spicy, lavender, amber fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of lavender, citrus, spicy berries and sandalwood.

Try Armani Code, it’s also spicy and dark, but very unique.

Sorry I don’t know many others along that line. I have most of my customs in [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) though, as it goes well with the Armani.

I tried armani code but for some reason I can’t even smell it when applied to myself. Others claim they can smell it - but not me!

I just spent the last two hours smelling different colognes, and I ended up getting a bottle of Burberry…

Try Versace Black Jeans. It’s been discontinued but it can still be had for a reasonable cost on ebay or amazon. It will remind you of an updated Drakkar.

I use Cubano Gold, all the people that i’ve met really like it. I believe there’s a fragrance site that sells 'em, [fragrancenet.com](http://fragrancenet.com). I’ve had no trouble with them, they seem decent.

I’ve always worn Drakkar as my ‘dark cologne’ and have worn Fierce as my bright cologne. Just depends on the venue.
