Hi!

This might be too obvious that I would probably figure this out by myself, but I’ll ask just to be sure.

I stumbled upon this question while my boss walked by my cubicle and left some kind of alpha-like smell that isn’t easily avoided. He likes to take a few walks around his employees once in a while just to make sure everybody works, I believe works very well and the smell reaches everybody. However, I didn’t notice his alpha-vibe by his smell at first, he is pretty tall, bald, and wears a shirt and a tie, he doesn’t say too much, his cologne just fits well with that. But of course I look at the situation, it’s at work, not that many men wears cologne, and a smell of some cologne there seems to deliver another message there than what it does at a party, at work it seems more intimidating in kinda way.

but once you get to into some random chat with him, he doesn’t seem that respected that all. He’s overall nice, even a bit funky and AFC. 😛

This is alot about ordinary smells and how they would act standalone and how well they could be friends.

We all know that ordinary smells sure affects us, it awakens strong feelings and memories. Some do have a certain effect i.e lavender is told to be calming. We link together certain smells with something deep. Besides that we can simply consciously take a whiff at something and “ahhh” and tell ourselves if we liked it or not and also put our own names on it. I believe all of you at Androtics made tons of research on making perfectly balanced and synthesized products and also put a great smell that resonates very well with the pheros. Great products BTW! It’s gotta be some kind of NLP anchoring or something there huh?

Smells could put you in a certain state of mind or does it? But that smell has to be related to something? But pheros goes directly through your VNO organ to those centra of your brani and put you there directly without having to reason with your subconscious, yaa maybe something like that.

Could it be possible to first cover some [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) with a normal cologne and anchor their state of mind to the smell of that? and to recall that persons state, just apply the cologne? However due to that pheros also smell a bit, the smell maybe have to be more accurate.

Mostly just some speculations and thoughts, I might been mistaken by many things and there’s much complex stuff in our mind, and of course I believe here that much are individual. Simply how would a prowl with a very exclusive perfume work together with just your natural pheromone signature?

I greatly appreciate reflective replies! 🙂

In addition to the direct chemical effect of pheros and EOs, I have no doubt that our respones to smells are conditioned by experience. I keep being drawn back to the thread [Vanilla Essential Oil Extract](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/vanilla-essential-oil-extract/3193). In addtion to the comfort/aphrodisiac effects of vanilla, they talked about the effect of common aromas like coffee. There was even a statement about a study where pumpkin pie smell caused erections in men. I’d need to see the data on that one. Nevertheless, i still have no doubt that our respnses are conditioned by experience.

Diesel fuel has a strong and pervasive hydrocarbon oder. You can almost smell the dinosaurs rotting. Most people find it repulsive, but not everyone. During her childhood my wife’s father worked on the railroad. He was away for days at a time and he smelled like diesel fuel when he came home. When i came home with the scent of diesel it definitely got a ‘Daddy’s home’ response. Hugs and kisses. Banging around the pots and pans. It was good. No diesel, it was ‘nice to see, I’m glad your here because I need you to…’.

I think it is even possible that there is some conditioned connection to lives past.

This is a GREAT original post, hellfire.

Yes, much like sounds, sights and touches/feelings and tastes, we can anchor certain feelings to certain smells and this will then _ **trigger** _ our conditioned responses to these smells, so that every time we are around that particular smell, we will act that certain way, or feel that certain way linked to the first time we felt when we were around that same smell. It’s called Neuro-associative conditioning.

This is one of the fundamentals of NLP, much like the experimentation of Ivan Pavlov and the dogs.

reps for a great post!
