I just came back from purchasing some perfume for my wife and the lady who sold it to me recommended putting a bit of lotion in the hand and spraying the perfume (or cologne) onto the lotion. Mix it all up and apply to your body wherever you would want it to go.

She says the effects are;

1.) It makes the scent “more subtle or less harsh”. I can agree to that. I still smell it just fine, but it’s not so WHAM in your face.

2.) She claims it will last longer.

I don’t know about number 2 yet. I thought it could be interesting to try applying my cologne and my unscented Shine I have on order to the lotion. I’m wondering if it will provide a better displacement across the skin surface and more effectively blend the phero odor with the cologne.

One of my concerns would be the lotion not allowing the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) to get into the air. You know, kind of bind it to the skin? Anyone have input on this?

There are a few posts on these technique. The ladies use it frequantly. If you mix or cover your mones with lotion it will slow diffusion.

Your hits will be " more subtle or less harsh " as the lady in the store told you. The lotion molecules are heavier then the mone molecules cutting down on distance of effectiveness as well.

What I do is mix my mones in my lotion of the day in my palm, apply them and then apply 1/2 to 3/4 a dose of my normal spray dose straight to my favorite application points. This way I have the benefit of both

Ah, I see. As the lotion absorbs into the skin and/or evaporates, will the potency of the [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) return? Thanks for the info, by the way.

This is an interesting topic as I’ve been wondering myself. I usually apply lotion when I get to work since it sooo early, and I get to steal my coworkers lotion..she says shes gonna buy the same kind for me for Christmas, haha..

Anyways, I usually apply lotion, get all moisterized n stuff, then put on my daily mix----

Base - A314 2 drops rubbed on wrist then smeared behind ear/pulse point on neck

Then on top - 2 shots [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) to pulses on neck and 1 shot to wrist, rubbed

Neck/head/back of hands - 6 shots CTTM2

The lotion is kinda lavenderish I guess, plus the other stuff and I’m a walkin pherobomb, lol..

I wonder what the reaction would be if you mixed the pheros with lotion and maybe a dab of topical thermogenic cream… Greater dispersing of the phero molecules?

This is what i been using for a while now

**Neutrogena Body Oil, Fragrance Free**

It works great, what I do is take my shower in the morning and apply it as soon as I get out trapping the water it and let myself air dry, but only apply it to my wrists, forearms, neck, and chest, basically where I will apply my pheros and cologne

Then about 15-30 minutes later I will apply my pheros and then cover with cologne, what I have notice is it helps increases longevity of my colognes on average anywhere from 3-6 hours depending upon which one it is

If you mix pheros with the body oil it will trap them and will greatly slow down the diffusion i do not recommend that.

EDIT: Also this body oil is so super nice for your hands making them incredible soft and women will love it when you give them massages another bonus!

Good advice.

Just out of curiosity though, why would they put A314 in oil? Wouldn’t it be better to use a spray, or would it be too potent?

i was referring to the alcohol instant line which is most of the pheros here

in fact the A314 is oil you are correct one of the nice features about A314 it is a a very slow diffusive phero and lasts all day and only have to apply once while all of the instant products you might have to apply several times

For example Instant honesty if i apply 6 am when i leave in am it only lasts me until noon then i reapply again…and then when i leave work and and so on

the downside to oil pheros is that it takes a while for it to reach your target and usually have to be near your target for a while to see the effects while the instant line well that is why they call it instant is a lot faster
