Wrists are one of my favourite places to apply for some reason, but I’ve encountered some technical difficulties.

Would water and soap, when you are washing your hands, effect it at all? Like, would it wash it away? I drink a lot of water, so I use the restroom a lot, thus I wash my hands a lot. I just feel like Im making the products that I applied to my wrists go away.

Would this make any difference or is it all in my head?

No Katie, it’s not all in your head, you’re right. 🙂 Yes, you can inadvertently wash off [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) like that. Wrists may be a favorite application spot but the pheromones aren’t going to do you any good if you wash them off. You really can’t help it when you need to wash your hands several times a day. Try spraying a bit higher up on your arms (_above_ your wrists and/or inner elbows) and push up your sleeves to expose the area so it can get out there. Don’t forget you can also spray to your neck and the back of your head. Even tough you prefer your wrists, this might be a better choice for you under the circumstances. 🙂

I have the same problem myself working in the medical field…it involves constant hand washing 🙄 What you can do is apply it a little bit higher up on your wrists, or sometimes I apply it on my inner arm/elbow (I don’t know what the laymans term is but the medical term is antecubital fossa… where bloodtests are done)

I also wash my hands quite often during the day, and have also found that forearms/inner/outer elbows work quite well.

I wondered about this too, along w/it being winter, in that my wrists much less my inner elbow area are usually covered when out anywhere.
It’s not always possible to roll up my sleeves either. =/

So what about spraying on clothes? I know it’s less effective but better than nothing, Id think?

Yes, you can spray on clothes, it is less effective but whadaya gonna do? 🙄 You don’t have much choice under the circumstances, so why not? That said, I gotta tell you, I love spraying in my hair. It’s highly diffusive. A little shake here and there and you’ll release a ton of molecules. IDK if that’ll work for you. Certainly not if your hair is covered as well. Don’t forget you can spray to the front of your neck, too. (V-neck sweaters, collared shirts…you get the idea.) Back of the neck works if your hair is up or short. Just keep in mind the closer you spray to your face the more it will directly effect _you._

I’m starting to grow on the hair method too 🙂 I also find it less conspicuous to push your head or your hair closer to someone - than … rubbing my chest or neck up against them, lol

Have the same issue as everyone here. I work in the kitchen so washing my hands every 5 minutes is not unheard off.

Though why is it, whenever I was my hands with pheros or even take a shower, I suddenly get a very strong rush of the smell of phero/cops before it disappears ? Is this just me ?

Hmm, slightly along the same lines…

If you DO wash off the pheromones applied to your wrists, can you then apply new pheros and have them take effect? Or have the pheros “integrated” into your bio-chemistry until you metabolize them out? I metabolize very quickly and can change my signature a couple times a day if I want to, but how about a quicker change? Is it possible?

I’ve found that in order to spread out the pheromones more evenly when I have most of my skin covered I generally take the route often less taken and spray products that I want to directly effect me on my face or my temples. The face will most likely work faster then the temple, but not as long as you probably already know, but its great for when you wanna use a mix like IO and IH. I’m sure you don’t wanna add IH to your face, but IO would have great self effects so you could apply that to your face and IH to your hair or neck.

Idk why, but for some reason I’m not too big a fan of the wrists…maybe it’s because of the whole washing your hands bit. I hope this helps tho. And might I add, IS and IS/a works great on the temples 😉

From what I know, it’s only topical application, so you can wash off (I washed off the new women’s test pack when it gave me a headache).

As for the original question, I find that applying to the crook of the elbow is just as good as wrists.

Thanks so much for replies.

I took everyone’s advice and used the elbow-arm-ish area trick today. Went good, I appreciate your help. 😉

If you spray your clothes remember that you are going to inhibit the diffusion by doing so. The fibers in most clothes will trap the pheromones.

Spraying the hair is a much better alternative. Besides, the hair seems almost designed to aid in the diffusion of pheromones. And a good hair toss, or flipping your hair with your hand is an awesome way to diffuse pheromones more strongly just when you want to. Try it and see if you can’t get bigger hits with this method. _ **The exception is anything with Androstenone in it.** _… don’t spray that in your hair, since it won’t come out with normal shampooing and repeated dosing of Androstenone in the hair causes build up of that molecule.

Oh wow, thanks for the advice, Dianne. Does any female products have -none in it?

Maybe I shouldn’t spray any experimental mix or putative in my hair then. =x

TUTH has androstenone in it. It is a male product, but is used by some women for self effects.

I get that too. It’s a result of you basically activating a whole bunch of pheros all at once. If you take a hot shower, and you wash off the pheros, a good amount of it’s gonna fly up into the air before all the water washes it down the drain.
