I have some consulting and investment banking interviews coming up soon with some of the top firms and am unsure about which mones to wear to them. I need to project a leadership/confidence vibe as well as someone who is very calm under high pressure situations. I was thinking of A314 and IS, possibly mixed with IO to get the conversation going. What’s everyone think? ---

Have you worn A314 before? I’d assume, yes… If you have experience with it, I think it would be the best one to have on in that situation. IShine does also project a relaxed and sunny disposition, though, it also underlines, in me anyways, a youthful vigor. May or may not be what you want in that meeting. IO, IMO, will water down A314. Too much of it will be detrimental to the alpha vibe of A314. If you have an issue with communication and need to have others open up to you, IShine, though not designed exactly for that, can also get it for you. Your open body language and attitude should be enough. If you feel that you must have a communications mone, that would be IH instead. My .02 cents! 🙂 ---

What’s everyone think? Which city are you applying in may I ask? Are these interviews for an internship or a job? You obviously know this already, but management consultancy and investment banking are top-of-the-line careers. In other words, extremely competitive, if you want any chance of getting in you are going to have to be immaculate, especially if you want to join leading firms like McKinsey or BCG for consultancy or something like Goldman Sachs. Personally, I would go with something along the lines of A314 + IH. The A314 would make you come across as someone who; is capable of holding their own, can make decisions under pressure if need be, is responsible and someone who knows their shit etc. Also, if you are one of those people that enjoy its side-effects, it will help you keep your cool during the interview. The IH might make it easier for the interviewer to connect with you on a personal level which can only be a good thing for your chances. Remember to test any mix you have in mind several times before the interview. You don’t want to lose a lucrative job offer due to ghosting simply because you were too lazy to try it out beforehand. Also, keep in mind to let the scent of the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) die down before the actual interview, this means spray the pheromones approximately an hour before the appointment. I know a couple of people who were in a similar position (associate / MBA interviews at I-banks and consulting firms), going light on A314 (max 1 drop) seemed to help. Of course, no magic mone is going to help if you haven’t prepared! From what I understand, these guys ask interview questions so hard that they make your eyes water… 🙂 ---

Boston and New York, believe me I’ve been preparing for these interviews for weeks.
