So instant openness is my fav product so far, but i’ve been having a lot of issues with it. The problem is that it’s hot in texas, so soooo freakin hot. So i was wondering exactly what causes -nols to convert to -none? Is it the temperature, the humidity, sunlight, or the actual sweating?

He is telling you the truth LOL

We all have coryneform bacteria or the scientific name Corynebacterium on our bodies and this is what converts anol to anone.

> [@](#):
>
> They can be found in many environments including soil, trees and skin. The non-diptheiroid Corynebecterium can also be found in human mucous membranes. Species of Corynebacterium have been used in the mass production of various amino acids includingL-Glutamic Acid a popular food additive that is made at a rate of 1.5 million tons/ year by Corynebacterium. The metabolic pathways of Corynebacterium have been further manipulated to produce L-Lysine and L-Threonine.

Its what bacteria does. It is a living organism that feeds on different substances on and in the body. It can feed on the anol and excrete anone.

> and is it related to how much you sweat?

No its not present because you sweat but it is what makes your sweat stinky.

There types of coryneform bacteria to. Lipophilic Corynebacterium feeds on lipids on and under the skin. These are the ones that cause acne and blackheads

This post could help you understand more about it \>\>\>

It’s mostly alpha-androstenol which is theorized to to convert to androstenone by way of a) oxidation (catalyzed by what on the skin? metals?), and b) coryneform bacteria on the skin. Much more more likely. (i.e., the bacteria would “eat” the Alpha Androstenol, and excrete the stinkier androstenone) Our spray products have antibacterial elements compatible with that carrier. They might inhibit bacterial conversion, at least in the s…

As long as you not spraying to your pits or groin you should be fine and safe from conversion.

I also suggest using a antibacterial soap when you wash.

i never spray to my groin or pits, but i’m having some real bad issues with conversion…the instant openness wears off after about 30 mins of dancin at a club for me…that’s why i was wondering what is causing it..is it me actually sweating, or the ridiculous triple digit temperatures we’ve been experiencing?

i know some other users have posted similar experiences with nol based products and have suggested reapplying. call me lazy but running to the bathroom every 30 mins to reapply pheros just doesn’t appeal to me, i want to find a way to avioid this to begin with. thanks

Aha OK that is not conversion that is rapid diffusion. As your body tries to keep cool it sweats and the sweat evaporates into the air taking the mones with it. The more physical activity you do the more you sweat and the faster the diffusion of the mones

Now don’t go by the smell to gage if its worn off. Even with rapid diffusion it should last about 2 to 3 hours or so. The neroli scent will be gone long before the mones are.

Now to slow diffusion you could try applying your mones with oil or lotion. I suggest more then your normal dose and then covering with lotion or I believe Renny uses mineral oil. (I have to ask him)

My method is to put a glob of lotion in my palm and spray some mones right into it. Mix it a little then apply it, then I will give a spray or two on top.

See this is wear IO 1X would come in handy as opposed to the higher concentrations.

YW, Lasts 4 to 6 hours for me in hot humid weather. Just remember you need to be wearing a little more then your normal dosage because the lotion slows the diffusion.
