I came across this bit of info while researching copulins and found it most interesting. In my case, it seems relevant. I have excessively ‘showered’ one of my targets with gifts. After reading this, I think I know why.

Research since the mid to late 90s has proven that copulins can affect and even control a male’s brain. It’s long been known that a female’s “[pheromones](https://a314.com/)” can affect certain male behavior. Pheromones will affect how a male behaves sexually toward the female, but copulins will affect a male’s dominant/submissive behavior. Each female’s copulins will affect each male’s behavior differently and at different levels. **A female whose copulins have a strong effect on a particular male may notice the male wanted to please her, offer gifts, and do what she wants. This is not a sexually driven need to please, but an unconscious reflex, and the female may notice there is no limit to what the male will do for her.**

Has anyone else fallen prey to this?

Does everyone buy into this theory?

There is a crazy web site and yahoo group of women who think mind control can be acheived of men by the **absorbtion** of the females natural copulins. There is absolutely no scientific evidence or antidotal evidence that this is true.

If it were true men wouldnt cheat, there would be no break ups and they would always do the dishes and put the seat down.

That site and these people you ran across are off there rocker and we have heard lots about them before.

No worries

Oh and this thread may shed some more light on it for you

Since this is a one-off and its the first time iv heard of it, im gonna disregard it as some crazy lady that fell off the rocker. Its still an interesting read though. It sounds like somethin outta the twilight zone. Home Effect on Male Behavior use the nav tools on the left of the pages too. there are a few more pages

Hi ya Tisha. Thanks so much for the link! Yes, ‘creepy’ to say the least.
I must say though that when I first read the referenced passage, it made sense to me. Can’t help but ask myself, why have I given her all these nice gifts when in fact she has given me virtually nothing in return? After all, I think everyone would agree that you can’t buy love. I’ve fallen deeply in love her or so it seems? Looks like my newbieness is showing through, LOL. Appreciate you setting the record straight.🙂

Fertile women have been playing “Bring me a rock” for millennia. DeBeers makes a lot of money that way.

So myth or not, I like women who emit a bit of copulins and tend to be more generous with them but I find cubic zirconia to be just as effective as diamonds.

No, I don’t. I have to agree with the others. I can tell you as a woman who uses copulins for attraction, rest assured, it doesn’t influence my husband nor anyone else to give me extravagant material gifts. Unless you count the chocolate croissants he bought me last Sunday morning, after I whacked him with cops the night before, as extravagant. When I wear cops he gives me “the good thing”. 🙂

I would’ve left it at that until I read this, lol!

Gee, you say that like it’s a bad thing! There’s nothing wrong with a woman wanting diamonds. Especially if it’s an engagement ring as diamond is the traditional stone. And, yes, De Beers runs the biggest racket in the business. Everywhere there’s a volcano there are diamonds. Diamonds are the most common gem stone on the market. If it wasn’t for De Beers regulating supply/quantity/distribution they’d be more affordable. They used to, pretty much, solely control the market but Russia and China have changed the game.

Frankly, when I found out about De Beers years ago it woke me up to the real “value” of gem stones and changed the way I look at them in general. Thankfully, preferring colored gems to begin with 😃, I was never interested in diamonds except as a sparkly accent for other stones. Other than that they do very little for me. That said, I do like gem stones and there are plenty of beautiful ones to be had that look spectacular and are relatively inexpensive. In the right setting, for a lot less $$$$'s than you think, you can be sporting something tasteful that looks like it costs a fortune. Seriously.

And there’s nothing wrong with giving a woman cubic zirconium \>\>\> _as long as you’re honest about it_. 🙄 If you’re gonna give me cubic zirconium, if/when I ask you if it’s a diamond, you’d better tell me it’s a cubic zirconium. I wouldn’t have to ask but not all women have a loop, lol, nor a keen enough eye/knowledge to tell the difference. 😉 Not that cubic zirconium isn’t a perfectly lovely stone but let’s keep this in perspective from both sides, shall we? 🙂

What would disturb me most is being deceived/you trying to pass it off as a diamond. That would say to me, in no uncertain terms, that you really don’t have enough confidence in me, yourself, or our relationship, to be honest about exactly what it is you’re giving me. That you don’t trust me or yourself enough to give me a chance to accept it for what it truly is and be happy with it. AND, what’s more, I couldn’t help but speculate as to what else you were being and have been dishonest about. AND it would serve you right. What’s important is that a gift be given from the heart, not your damn pocketbook. You can take _that_ to the bank!

Anyways, I’d rather have the croissant! 😛

You haven’t said how this girl feels about you. The only thing we know is that you’re in love with her and buying her alotta gifts and it’s disturbing you. How does she feel about _you_? Has she “showered” _you_ with any gifts, besides her copulins? I think the only thing that’s wrong with you buying her gifts is if you’re doing so to “buy” her affections and I’m not saying that you are. You’re really not doing this unconsciously, so you can stop any time you want to.

You are a free agent and under no one’s control but your own. 🆒 We wouldn’t fib to you here. We might tease you about it a little, all in good humor, but we would never steer you wrong because we take this stuff pretty seriously. You’ve read too much into this, Johnny. BeGood and stop scaring yourself! 😃

As far as I know, there’s no substance that can make you give up your free will. Unless, of course, Whitehall would like to share! 😛 😉

Your welcome. My advice about gifts in general for anyone is this. A gift is not a gift if your giving it expecting something in return.

By gifts I dont mean just trinkets you buy in the store People are to materialistic. Your friendship is a gift. Love is a gift. Kindness is a gift. Trustworthiness is a gift. Understanding is a gift. These are things we give to others that have so much more meaning then some trinket you buy even from DeBeers. Men dont realize it but sex is a gift as well. The sharing of intimacy and joining of two people on the deepest of levels. These are the gifts that carry true meaning. I am not saying there is something wrong with buying things for people when that gift is given from the heart without expectations.

When you say “she has given you nothing in return” what does that mean exactly. Does she treat you bad ?

I have to admit this rubbed me the wrong way. I know you didnt mean it to but it makes me feel sad for you. Maybe you should find a better quality of women to hang with because if you have to buy debeers or zirconia to find women “generous” with there copulins then something is wrong. You deserve a better quality of women or maybe your just not giving them enough credit thinking all they do is play games for gifts .

I would love a flower picked from the side of the road more then any stone as long as its given with the heart and without expectation. Want to know the best gift my husband has ever given me after the gift of my sons of course ?

He thinks its the Mustang he got me for my anniversary in 2009 but its not. He makes me laugh when I want to cry. He gives me hope when I lose my own. He’s got my back even when he thinks I am wrong. He gives me his honesty and loyalty. He gave me his love and asked for nothing in return and because of that there is nothing I wont give him. These are the gifts of true worth and far more valable then any stupid diamond.

I can live and love without the trinkets but I cant without those other gifts.

Tisha

A pleasure meeting you Bella! 🙂 Thank you so much for your sharing your thoughts and impressions. You’re right, I haven’t given any background about this girl. Yes, I’m beyond madly in love with this young lady. She’s in her 20’s and I’m in my 50’s. I’m deep deep in the friend zone with her though. I feel elation in her presence and she has said the same
about me. However she has a hard time accepting our age difference. She’s told me I’m the best friend she’s ever had. I have no problem being her best friend, I just need the ‘benefits’ to go along with it, before I totally go out of mind! On a positive note, I will say that since I’ve been using the mones, she looks at me differently now. I can see it in
her eyes.

Why can’t the best of friends also be the best of lovers? I believe it’s totally possible, isn’t it?

I like the way you put it … “the good thing” 😉

Oh, no! A man should **never** be specific about his gift, especially as to the gem stones unless it is a symbol of permanence, like a wedding ring, or has a great story behind it, like tanzanite. The metal can be important due to rashes so one can disclose that for medical reasons.

But the gift of jewelry should stand alone as an object of beauty and good taste, not on price as a metric of love. CZ has many advantages over diamond but diamond is physically harder and can last longer. Otherwise, sparkle and flash (index of refraction and dispersion, technically) are better with CZ.

And, no, a gift of jewelry doesn’t buy a guy love. It might get him sex from a floozy but there are cheaper ways to get laid. It can give the woman a sense of commitment, security, and self-worth.

One of the universal ways of women is that they just positively light up when you give them a shiny rock. I love to see the pure joy in their eyes when I give a gift like that. That’s why I do on occasion buy such gifts for the women I care about. Since that includes my daughters I’d claim that it is not just about sex.

I once gave a CZ tennis bracelet to a lady friend for her 40-something birthday. She cried at the dinner party because it came “from a real jewelry store.” No man had ever given her jewelry from a “real jewelry store” before.

Another woman just was so happy when I gave her a very, very pretty sterling silver and CZ bracelet. Her loveless dud of a ex-husband (who was and remains far, far, more affluent than I) certainly had given her plenty of diamonds to adore his arm candy wife but my relatively inexpensive gift (\<$100), chosen and given with a pure, happy heart (and good taste), brought real joy to her life. One facet was that she could show it off to her girlfriends, not as a super-duper expensive gift, but something that showed I cared - that commitment aspect again.

Point is, CZ brings the same joy, if the guy handles it right, as the much more expensive monopoly diamonds. I really enjoy giving women gifts of jewelry so give cheap and give often. Just some wisdom from one man to another.

As to a 50ish guy chasing a 20-something woman, good luck with that! Putting a lot of effort into the chase is like buying lottery tickets, odds are you’ll get little return. Look at it from a young fertile woman’s serious biological perspective. A child is a 20+ year commitment. Having sex is a precursor to having a child. If you’re 55, will you, as the father, be around to support and defend the mother and child throughout childhood? You’ll be in your late 70s before your responsibilities are completed. Your buying gifts is your attempt to signal, consciously or not, your abilities as a provider. Maybe you should mention your life insurance policies or your estate planning. That would get straight to the point of her concerns, conscious or not.

You womenfolk don’t need to worry your pretty little heads about where jewelry comes from or costs. Just smile and be happy when you open that pretty little fuzzy box and see the pretty shiny thing your man gave you as a gift from his heart. If you start looking for a Tiffany logo on my gift, you’ll just be disappointed, at least from me, and spoil the whole moment.

Hi Tisha, thank you for coming back and sharing your feelings 🙂. No she doesn’t treat me badly at all. Thanks for asking. After re-reading my thread opener, I realized my choice of words were not the best. I’m an abstract thinker and sometimes my choice of words can be misleading unto
myself as well as others. ‘Virtually nothing in return’ was a really poor choice of words on my part more than likely skewed by one too many cocktails yesterday, lol. I was feeling a bit of anger and frustration when I started this thread. Actually she has given much to me on the spiritual level (She has little money, I don’t expect or want material gifts from
her). Now I just need the physical to go along with the spiritual. Without that, our relationship, at times, remains painful and incomplete. It’s just that the one thing she could give me, and that which I want the most from her, and that which would cost her nothing, she refuses to share. I have faith and patience though. We’re both at critical junctures here. You are so right in saying that sex is the ultimate gift. I can’t live without those other gifts either. Thank you again for your contribution to this thread.🙂

Well if your buying a gift to give joy and it gives you joy to do so thats great. I am glad you clarified that. 😉

Besides my engagement and wedding rings which I got 5 years after we were married I cant remember one piece of jewelry my husband ever bought me LOL. Its really going to depend on the women. Like I said he bought me a Mustang for my anniversary a few years ago. Then the next year he bought me duel exhaust for valentine’s day. They were both shiny and I loved them but I love the flowers he picked from the garden just as much. 😃 All womenfolk don’t like the same things except with those other gifts I mentioned before. Those are the gifts that give a sense of commitment security and self worth not shiny things that come in fluffy boxes. Self worth is not derived from anything material it just gives the false illusion of it.

>
>
>
>
>
>
>
>

Thanks so much for your words Whitehall. I enjoy
reading your posts here. You make a lot of interesting points of
which I can thoroughly relate to. I wish I had a picture of her
expression as she opened that little box last Christmas. I know exactly what you’re talking about! 🙂 Thanks also for your good luck wishes. Much appreciated. I’ll let you know how things go.

Oh my this is an important part you left out in your first post. For most women that age gap is just to big when it comes to sexual attraction. Yes once in a while you see older men with young women but thats not about sexual attraction thats about money. You dont really think those women are really sexually attraction to Heffner do you ? Its his money and power they are attracted to. Love has little to do with it.

You cant make someone feel something they dont even with pheromones. I have no doubt she loves you but anything beyond that is probably not within her to give.

We sort of touched on this subject in a different thread but the circumstances were different.

Your in lust with your best friend.

Sorry Tisha, cannot say that I can totally agree with you on this one.
Generally speaking, yes. But there are exceptions to every rule.
A good friend of mine, age 61, is married to a 28 year old. They’ve been married for 5 years. She’s the sweetest most attractive little lady that you could possibly ever imagine. A truely wonderful person. He too is a great person. They are deeply in love. Believe me, he is not very well-to-do. He’s been in some unflattering financial situations lately. You can just feel their love for each other when in their presence. You know they got that kissy-face smoochie-doo-bee-doo stuff going on. It makes a lot people uncomfortable, lol. I’ve always been envious of him.
Yes without a doubt, you could say I am in lust with my best friend. And that’s putting it mildly. 🙂
Thanks for your thoughts.

Yes there is thats why I said “most women” instead of “all women”. She has already told you how she feels about the age difference though so she **may not** be the exception to the rule. Not saying definitely not so you need to come up with an alternative plan if what your doing now is not working.

You mentioned you give her lots of gifts and attention. Stop the gifts for one. Holidays are fine of course if your moved to get something but not otherwise. To many gifts are going to come off as needy of her attention and you dont want that vibe.

She told you your the best friend she has ever had. she feels elated when with you and she knows how you feel. Maybe if you start paying attention to other women and take some of the attention off her it could nudge her into realizing what she stands to lose. I am not saying start dating or become a man whore but flirt a little in front of her, focus your attention on them. Use body language to your advantage. See right now she has you and the saying is true we dont know what we have till its gone. If she feels it slipping away maybe she will come around and the age wont bother her as much.

Just a suggestion to think about.

Thanks much! I like your suggestions. I do appreciate your input. I
had already tried one of your suggestions. Several months ago I tried
doing a ‘disappearing’ act, so to speak. I stopped answering her
texts too or just took forever to respond to them. Completely stopped calling her. It got her attention. After about a month of little to no contact, she left me a voice mail. “I haven’t heard from you, is everything ok?” “I really miss you.” “I really really do!”(notice she said really twice) It’s hard to put this into words but her tone of voice was shaky and
whiny. She seemed genuinely sincere about what she was saying. It
made my day, so to speak. I knew I’d gotten to her. I gave in shortly
thereafter and am seeing her again ever since. I’m in the process of
now changing that.

Too bad I didn’t have the mones when I made my re-entry. I now plan
on distancing myself again from her but this time when I return it’s
going to be with a bang instead of a whimper. 😃 I have a good feeling
about this!🙂

Just an update:

My current lady, one I am VERY serious about, highly values brands, specifically, Tiffany. Partially, that’s cultural.

So I bought her a little silver ring that she chose with me at Tiffany’s, over-priced for sure but not too expensive, but she loved it. She seemed as happy to have the Tiffany blue box and Tiffany shopping bag as the ring.

That’s what she wanted and that’s what she saw as a sign of my interest and commitment.

I’ll save the CZ tennis bracelet for a later refresher although that’s not really her style.
