question: does the range/sillage of a cologne cover scent have any effect on the effective range of the mones you’re wearing?
AD mones seem to have an effective range of about 6 feet give or take depending on conditions. However I have used and known people that jave used colognes that can be detectable at 12 feet or more, with a lingering residual scent even after a person has left the room. Would using a cover cologne with a range like that work as an effective carrier scent for the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) or is the molecular weight of the mones such that their range is pretty much set in spite of whatever cologne one may be using?

Would spraying the cologne over the application point make a difference?

I don’t spray cologne over pheromones’ application points, I do it the other way round. First cologne, then (when it has dried) pheromones. And yes, I have noticed the difference in range of the pheros depending on which cologne I’m using. I currently use two Calvin Klein’s ones: Escape and Euphoria. I normally prefer Escape, it’s lighter, fresh and goes very well with neroli. However, Euphoria’s scent has much greater range, and I’m pretty sure so do the pheromones while used together with it. I’m also almost certain that it doesn’t really matter whether application spots for ‘mones and cologne are the same or not. I base this on the observation that I get the usual A314-related indicators of respect from greater distance when I wear Euphoria. Same thing for Alter Ego. And I never apply oil or DPG based pheromones in the same spots as the cologne. So I think it’s like the pheromones’ molecules are ‘catched’ in the air and carried by the cologne scent.

Never had a problem with alcohol based pheros, although I do tend to keep the app points spread out, so it would unlikely all woud be covered any one time. Then again, there are the other phero products you can mix with colognes - NPA etc.

I’d only make a great effort to keep oil app points - A314 and AE away from where I was spraying cologne or any other mones.

I’ve actually noticed on different occasions how much farther adding additional cover scent works with diffusing the mones. I’ve also just had 1 test when I composited mones in a bottle with the cover scent in there already.

I’ve had some good comments about the scent itself and the mones effect were evident. Most of these tests have been in a place where there are A LOT of competing scents.

If you want more details on it Rad, PM me.

12’ is a HUGE range for cologne, and may very well just be based on the mass of the spray you apply or it’s scent-density. (Less concentrated would fade away closer.) Aren’t you worried this would be overpowering?

Yes it can make a huge difference but there are some things to consider.

Using a cologne with great sillage **in a mix with binders** will make the mix more effective. This is why they test the same formulas in different scents.

Covering with one doesn’t always work the same way because the molecules dont bind. Once in a while you find a cologne that both has good sillage and binds and you will see a increase in distance but it doesn’t happen with every scent.

You have to treat each cologne you have as part of your own personal testing to determine which one binds the best with the mones and has good sillage.

For instance over on the ladies side Pink Sugar has both and works with the mones to improve the results while other colognes do nothing but cover. They dont harm diffusion in any way they just dont change the result of the [pheromone formula](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/).

Ive been wondering about the range of the pheros.
ive read some topics where people say that others in a club were checking the pheroguy out. So i cant imagine me sitting somewhere and getting looks (because of pheros) from girls miles away.

6 feet is the distance ? so basicly you have to get really close to someone for the pheros to work?
another thing: How long for the pheros to affect the girl? you need to be withing 6 feet range for some minutes ? or can u just walk by for a second ?

They don’t _affect_. They send an information about the person who’s wearing them. The closer you are, and the longer you are within that close range, the more accurately other people can recognize the signal and link it to the particular person. Also, the longer the exposure, the stronger is the mental connection between the information sent by pheromones and the way people _see_ you.

Not especially, carrying range is a little different from intensity. I’m not talking about using sooooo much cologne that you smell like “too much cologne” guy. There are a lot of colognes I’ve used or known others to use that up close are not at all overbearing yet are still detectable at a good range. Near as I can figure, either certain scents in general, or certain qualities of essential oils used can have a lighter molecular weight and thus carry farther, this is very different from there simply being MORE of it.

I’ve used some popular mens colognes that have great reaction with women regardless. I’ve composited it in a to-go with some pretty amazing results. ScienceStudent, some mens colognes go the distance but isn’t too overpowering, while some won’t go further than 2 feet. Like tisha said, you have to really test it out and see if it carriers, but in my experience, most of the really good colognes out there women will come near you to smell you anyway and even if it doesn’t bind with the carrier scent, your normal diffusion ranges for your mones will take over.

That makes sense – still, I’m of the mind that a little _fresh_ sweat on a guy is the best. 😉 (And with naturally or unscented bath products.)

OH god blue sugar is magically delicious even without pheromones. With pheromones its just as deadly as pink sugar. It can make your eyes roll back in you head in pleasure. Never before have I encountered a scent that made people get the urge to lick you like Pink and Blue Sugar do. LOL

They do send information but pheromone both affact and effect people as well.

They affect them by influencing behavoir

They effect is the result of the influence.

Yes we respond to pheromones, but we have control over it. Our behaviour is not affected by pheromones like it is by alcohol or drugs. And the response is very much socially conditioned.

> Our behaviour is not affected by pheromones like it is by alcohol or drugs.

Well alcohol and drugs impair thought and behavior, your right pheromones dont do that.

Pheromones influence thought and behavior. They evoke a feeling and response to it. Bring a feeling to consciousness.

Sometime the response is socially conditioned but not as often as you would think it would be. I have seen putatives that make those exposed release a part of themselves they had no ideal was in there. I have seen many mones and mixes work to help people let go of social conditioning and go with the flow of what they feel. I have experienced this myself.

They can not make someone do something they are not willing to do or feel something that is non existent but there are many emotions that stop us at times from doing what we want or reacting to what we really feel.

Like talking for instance. A person may be socially conditioned to stay quiet and they stay that way for fear of pushing out of there social norm and suddenly they are exposed to something like IO and all that conditioning gets overshadowed in the subconscious by a stronger more present feeling and before they know it they get home and realize they didnt stop talking all night. I have coached some really shy people and used IO on them and winged them at a social function and they chatted all night. On the way home I will tease them and say…I thought you said you were shy ? and they look at me and say “I know, I dont know what came over me” LOL

The one thing I have learned and learned well from AD products is that pheromones are definitely not just about attraction. They cover way more then that when it comes to how we interact with each other. Its really kinda cool.
