# Covering pheremones up

Say I apply some instant shine or ammo and spray armani code over it, will that reduce its effects.

Nope. Many of us cover the more smelly [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) with our favorite cover scents.

No, not really. It usually enhances the effects- slower evaporation and the pheromones are scattered farther away. It’s not absolutely necessary though. With [unscented pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/stealth-unfragranced/), however, it’s a very good idea because otherwise you get more self-effects (if you experience them at all) and the cloud as such may not be as big as with a scented pheromone.

The additional scent will not likely reduce effects, but may not tip off people you are normally around, as they will not notice as much of a change in smell.

Some people do not like some smells, so a cover scent may turn some people off because of the cover.
