HIMALAYA Fragrance Notes: Mandarin, grapefruit, Sandalwood, musk I have been wearing this a lot to work and have had quite a few compliments from the girls in my section on how great it smells. Well until I tell them how much it costs then they look shell shocked. Lol This fragrance smells like a cool fresh and smooth air from a mountain top with a sweet musky sandalwood aroma. I just cannot get enough of it and its great cover for my [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/). Out of all the Creed line and I have tried a lot of them this is now my number one frag with Green Irish Tweed coming in at number two. Thumbs up to Creed on a great quality fragrance that has panache and style.🙂 ---

It sure is an amazing scent! I think your notes are a little off though. Black Pepper is missing from the middle and ambergris missing from the base. And AH, how much ambergris there is in this one! It’s in the base of most of the masculine millesimme line, but especially present in Himalaya. You should also check out Erolfa and Green Valley if you get the chance. Green Valley is like a combination of SMW and GIT. Erolfa is just a stellar oceanic scent. ---

If you are interested check out XS by Paco Rabanne it is a way cheaper version and came out before himalaya You be suprised how similar they are and XS lasts a lot longer [XS pour Homme by Paco Rabanne (1993)](http://www.basenotes.net/ID26121716.html) ---

denec, have you tried black XS? I have never smelled the original XS, only black XS, which is quite sweet and fresh, and was wondering if it is anything like Himalaya. ---

Truth is I did not think I would like it from the reviews but it dried down beautifully on me, and while it is sweet it is not sickly sweet like Angelmen It does not last long on me maybe about 6 hours so will need to bring an atomizer if I will be gone all day
