Yes, itā€™s fun, also very different from other martial arts (and the use of the word ā€œtrappingā€ is a bit of a misnomer, but itā€™s close enough). There is a similar concept in Chinese martial arts, too. You can see it in some martial arts movies sometimes (The Matrix for instance), somebody will punch at somebody, and the person parries the punch with their hand (and this hand immediately becomes the ā€œsensing handā€), and then their other hand manipulates that personā€™s arm to check it with a slap or touch (or occasionally grab and jerk it, for instance, combining it with a backfist), and then the ā€œdefenderā€ can punch back and the other personā€™s hand is tied up and less useful. Itā€™s a form of control through kinesthetic awareness of a personā€™s limbs. In the end, thatā€™s personā€™s attack can become a very big weakness and put them at a disadvantage. One of my favs. I adore him. I donā€™t know why I didnā€™t think of him before. With the new plaid uniforms and fandangled air compressor Kitten foundā€¦heā€™d be the perfect instructor! Besides martial arts he excells at dancing!..and a few other things. Heā€™s a choreographer, boxer, swordsman, played semi pro soccer, loves Mozart, Reggae, and also, speaks French and Italian fluently. Bet he can cook, too. šŸ˜› What I wanna know is where the F was Hollywood when they were casting the ā€œnewā€ James Bond? _ **HELLO?** _ Scences from the series which managed to include all his talents.
