I’ve only visited once and we didn’t tour much. We stayed near Puerta Plata. It’s lovely. The people are so friendly, genuinely warm and kind. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back. 🙂 May I ask where you grew up on the island? ---

Check out Punta Cana, Bavaro Beach, they have some nice beaches and cool resorts there. ---

Yes, the beaches are beautiful. Next time we may take a little excursion out that way. We stayed at a place, north central not far from Puerto Plata, that’s small and secluded with a private beach. It’s away from the general tourist frenzy. 🙂 It was the perfect place to relax and indulge. We liked it so much we’re goin’ back in May for Wolf’s birthday and our anniversary. 😃 Oh, and I _love_ the food. It’s so fresh, yummy and well prepared. God, the braised goat! Don’t get me started. 😛 ---

Hi there Bella! Hi guys. Just popping in to say hello. I’ve not been very active on the forum recently - work to do and all that, been making metaphorical hay while the metaphorical sun shines 🙂 In fact reality has caught up to metaphor very recently, and the sun is now shining in the UK (yes, it does happen occasionally!) So, with spring upon us it’s time to renew my phero-experiments… ---

I was gone for a few weeks but I am back now. Habla castellano? Dancing shoes - not lately unfortunately. I see its been a little dead with a lot of people - Mark, Renny, etc.. I understand the young kids in school - Bond, Remmy, Selva - crunch time and all that. Well good to be back home all the same. ---
