While I was at school my package of $260 worth of [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) arrived. It took me a few months to save up for the mones, but my dad took them and has hidden them in his office. He refuses to talk about them and all he has said is that pheromones are very bad substances and it was very bad of me to purchase them. What can I say to convince him to give them back to me? My dad seems to believe that they’re some evil magical substances that shouldn’t be used. FML ---

Understandably you probably don’t but he needs to be enlightened as to the potential that pheromones carry. He is wrong in one sense anyway as it seems science is still out on the usage and reception of pheromones in humans. You’re a young adult and I think maybe your father wants you to develop naturally and not use synthetic enhancements at such a virile age. Then again, considering you are an adult and you saved and paid for them for a while then you should have the grounds to just demand them back. It’s your call! ---

If you want to live under his roof, you gotta play by his rules or hit the road. The land of free rent ain’t a democracy. It’s a dictatorship. Sounds like he did you a favor by providing ample motivation to move out and fend for yourself. ---

If you got some other mones already beyond his reach than use them as an aid when you do try to get them back and be sure to educate him on the science of this stuff and how these are already naturally occuring and besides it’s not like your ingesting or injecting these to damage your body, than also the point that it was still your money spent on them. My family does not know about mine but I already have a history with them for ordering bodybuilding workout supplements and they know I am safe about what I take and I can readily show the science behind the stuff I take… an let me tell you I have LOTS of supplements and not your simple Protein/Creatine supplements beginners take… just saying that if it were my situation I have already established trust in that sense. Do you have any background or reason as to why you want or need these? try to issue the importance of why you are using these. ---

First make it clear you understand that but then stress you would like to talk about it with him. Ask him why he believes they are bad substances. Then offer proof he is wrong. Your going to have to do some homework to be ready because you dont quite know why he feels the way he does. He may think pheromones are just to gain sexual encounters. No they signal all sorts of things not just arousal. They signal joy and warmth (Ishine). Comfort and openness (IO) Strength and Status (a314) He may think they are unhealthy for you in some way. Mones are no more unhealthy then perfume or any other chemical we use on our bodies like shampoo or certain lotions. You are not ingesting them. He may think they force people to respond a certain way. Free will to choose never is effected by mones. We use all of our senses to process emotions. They are no different then his fancy suit or the after shave or nice haircut he gets to look good for work. They influence they dont manipulate. He may have looked up pheromones and seen the word steroids or hormones and it freaked him out. Steroids come in many forms. These are again not injected or ingested. It could be many reasons he thinks they are “very bad” you just have to calmly discuss why he has this misconception and show him that you looked beyond just purchasing them but you did some research. People tend to fear things they do not understand. The best way to concur fear is to understand it and face it head on. Tisha ---

Hopefully you have a reputation for making good decisions. Appeal to his masculine and use your long lasting relationship to your benefit. Men tend to think about people as a summary of the entire relationship with them. Many women are only ‘aware’ of the present incident that sparked the issue. So remind him of why he trusts your judgement. Go into the conversation with an open mind to find out why he thinks the way he does. ---

I’m not saying your dad is stupid or anything but not many people know/understand what pheros are/do… Maybe he confused them with hormones which would explain his reaction since they are a little bit more extreme… 😃 Just a thought! Tell him at least let you return them if all else fails so you can get your money back. Then just reorder and send it somewhere else, problem solved. P.S. Make sure you hide them in either atomizers or somewhere else just incase he searches your room. ---

I was getting ready to come back in this thread and say that, in my case I have all mine in my car for now since it isn’t summer yet (heat vs. shelf life) When you order up to 100$ you can get that 1 day shipping option, although mine took 4 days, just time it where you know he is mostly busy. I’d suggest breaking your oders up by each 100$ per order so this way even if he catches one you can get the others on different days whereas you ordered 260 in a single order and than single order was caught. I will keep comming to this thread if I get any idea’s because we’d all like to have you on the team with us. ---

If he is under 18 and his parents don’t want him buying the stuff we can’t sell to him in all honesty. It will only get US in trouble. Best thing he can do (for him and his relationship with his father) is to open a dialogue. Pheronoob, if you need help explaining it feel free to call us for advice. I’m sure Steve can give you plenty of ways to bring it up and explain it properly. ---

His information says he is 19. And I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to open somebody else’s mail. You could take your dad to small claims court, it would be cheaper than buying more mones, and anyway I think your dad would be required to pay the legal fees ($20-60). Or you could just threaten to do so, and point out that from a legal perspective, he’s just flat out wrong. What you buy is your business. But obviously your treading on thin ice if your saying this kind of stuff to someone you have to live with/under. ---

Yeah he could do that, sadly he could also start looking for his own place to live and pay rent when dad gets his papers handed to him.
