Country Swing Dancing coupled with the Texas Two Step… Hell Yess… Something like this, but with more actual dancing in the round ie Texas 2 step but during interlude or chorus we do the Country swing dance moves for a bit of added flair. I do not do all of those moves in the video, no it’s not me, and the girl is much better than the guy but hey he tried and learned the basics of them. Not that I’ve seen Jim dance personally. But most people just get out there on the floor and make some motions. Most of us don’t really have a clue about ‘proper’ steps and maneuvers. We just move. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s just shocking. The amazing thing is that we have the guts to do it at all. ---

I was just joking w/ the 2 gifs… I tried to find some krumping/clowning gifs but I couldn’t I’m more into electronic music so I have some stepping that I do. Decent dancer in my own right… would really dig getting into some more classic and ballroom dancing styles… some of the dances are extremely sexy and fun… ---

Actually… I took a few Argentinian Tango classes many many years ago with a friend of mine.. and that dance is so damn sexy. Luckily I had a very sexy dance partner and we used to have a blast with it. I defo need to get back into stuff like that… ---

Me i dance modern jive 2 - 3 times a week, also known as Ceroc and La Roc plus a few others, is mixture of styles but describe as cross between salsa and jive. The blues style which i have yet to get into is a very sexy slow style of modern jive. ---

this might show my age and/or lack of dancing skill, but grinding? the places i go don’t play the right music to do proper dances, and they’re almost always packed so even if you wanted to bust out some pop/lock (which i like to do occasionally, basic moves though) you have no room. that leaves either bouncing around in your personal bubble with your drink, or you can make that more fun by grabbing a partner. most of the time it starts with bouncing near the other person. if the mood is right and you played your cards well, or the drinks are just hitting really hard, then eventually you’re bouncing/grinding together. ---

Take a salsa/Jive/Swing class - Most club music has a beat that you can use for the fundamental timing and the rest you can use to swing a girl around (they love being swung around… leading a girl shows dominance = gina tingles) When you know how to dance with a partner you never need to play that bump and grind guessing game (where you bounce around in proximity and hope the combo of bouncing and alchohol leads to grinding) You can just walk up to a girl whom you’ve never before, never talked too, never even crossed eyes with - grab her hands and tell her your taking her for a dance and as long as you show up with some good moves it essentially NEVER GOES WRONG. Well there was this one time that I was doing that when I was far too hammered to have any coordination… but that is another story for another time 😛 ---

The only dancing I do, is sadly limited to alternating between clenching each butt-cheek to whatever music’s playing on my computer at the time. I know you do it too…
