I have been sick with a cold all week, but tonight my BF came to see me for a few hours. I took a shower, changed into my black yoga pants and black cami, looking casual but fit. After putting lotion on, I decided to go one-note and use just Instant Sexiness A, three sprays: back of neck, chest/neck, and one split between wrists. No cover spray, no extra [pheromones](https://a314.com/). When he arrived he’d come from hanging with some buddies and had had a few drinks but where I wondered if perhaps the light cops in IS/A might have had an effect on him is this: we both study martial arts. We started talking about martial arts and he could concentrate on nothing else. He wanted to show me several new locks he’d learned, and for the span of about 20-30 minutes, we talked and practiced. Now this was NOT what I had in mind, but if cops increases testosterone, could it be possible that, depending on other external stimuli, it could go “sexy” one day, “competetive” the next, “physical” another day? I don’t know if this is a hit or not. My BF can sometimes be rather…sexually detached. He’s an Aquarius and it’s said they like to think about sex more than do it, so I have grown accustomed to his occasionally non-linear sexual responses: e.g. I am all but stripping and he is oblivious. (LOL) But does he ever love to TALK about sex or read about it or eavesdrop on other’s personal stories (gossip, not literal eavesdropping 😛). I am sick with a cold, so I didn’t mind so much, and I was really experimenting more than looking for an outcome, but could it be possible that since I was a) sick and b) he knew he was only coming to see me for a few hours, that his brain processed the testosterone increase as “let’s do martial arts!” instead of “let’s have sex”? ---

Great story. Hey, talking about sex is good, too! LOL. Maybe it’s just me, but [Instant Sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/) has so much other stuff going on, I wouldn’t consider it a true test of copulins. Its copulins are not present in high enough amounts to suit most of us so we add some more. I understand they don’t have to be noticeable to have an effect but … Do you have EW? ---

as an aquarius, i sooo understand your bfriend! that energy comes out _any physical way it can_. the cops definately could have boosted his T, but that doesnt always manifest as sex. btw, aquarians are detached emotionally,not sexually. its likely sparring was a sexual act to him! I know IS/a doesn’t have a ton of cops (and Carrie, yes!, I ordered EoW recently and waiting for it to arrive…muahaha) but it would be just like my BF to think “she’s sick, I’m only staying a short time” and take the idea of sex out of his brain so that’s why I thought maybe it came out as sparring instead! And yah, Lor, it makes sense about “that physical energy coming out anyway it can.” I am a Pisces, so we are QUITE different in our responses. I am not your typical overly-emotional Pisces but I am pretty darn sensitive (even though I have learned a great deal of emotional detachment and present-mindedness as well) and he is STO-IC. hahaha. I think what befuddles me the most about him, and from what I’ve heard this is sort of typical of Aquarians (Lor, can you weigh in here) is that they are so mentally-based that sex MUST be preceeded by some sort of mental engagement (e.g. banter, wordplay, argument) so that’s why sometimes the good ole cuddle on the couch with some groping won’t “always” lead to The Do. Not that I can’t conjure up enough mental challenge/engagement to get him randy, but I with pheromones, I’m looking for a shortcut to that point. It’s just weird. the thing with me vkat is that i have this real open mind,and yet need proof as i am naturally skeptical. this book i have is so frighteningly accurate, that i show it to every friend that drops by just to watch their face- and THEN to watch them looking up everyone they can think of! you will infact find patterns as you evolve into something different, all through highschool all my friends were capricorns and aquarians- i even had three of my closest friends born on jan 16th!!! now there is a brilliant array of signs, even my kids are signs i didnt previously have in the family. weird. having taurus surround you is a time where you were family oriented or atleast wanting security/homelife/earthy colors/close partnership sourounding yourself with your own sign is pointing to getting to know yourself better and testing your own limits, watching yourself fly and thinking bet i can fly higher. ---

It was a surprise to me when one day in my early 20s I was like “what’s up with me & Aires?” It was like every guy I dated, had a relationship with, or wanted to have sex with me was Aires. LOL needless to say, we butted heads a bit. The Aires was a little too cock-sure for my Piscean far more subtle cock-sure ways 😉 Then for a minute I had fire signs, which with Leos was cool, Sagittarians, bleh 😠 My BF is the longest relationship I’ve had AND he’s an air sign AND the first Aquarius I have EVER dated. LOL we are soooo different but in many fascinating ways, very much alike (deep beneath the surface; we eventually get to the same place, we just take different routes to get there. I like that we have different routes; sometimes I think he thinks his is best LOL). Lor, I’m 2/27, he’s 2/4. In many ways, he’s like my Dad (2/9): laser focused, stoic, detached, absent-minded like a mofo. LOL I LOVE astrology. Despite romantic incompatibility with Capricorns, about half of my closest friends happen to be Capricorns! It’s mind-boggling, especially because I wouldn’t expect myself to get along with such a serious and professional sign. this is the funniest thread---- I too, am an aqaurian ( 1/22) and have to say Lor’s right— Aqaurians tend to be mentally detatched, not sexually. I’m not sure I could imagine dating an aquarian. I think the problem is that aqaurians tend be really inside their own heads. I think we sometimes tend to come off as “non-sexual” because there is such mind/body connection with us, I know I can’t sleep with or be sexual with someone if I don’t lust after their mind… Once that’s gone sexually, it’s over( for me anyway) They best way to deal with an aqaurian is to know when to give them personal space (often) we reallly like time alone…and when to shower them with lots of attention. aquariuans also tend to be idealistic and romantic -ON THEIR OWN TERMS I know I’m a hopeless romantic-- In an aloof, caustic sheep’s clothing 😉 ---

Heh.. “The Man” and I are respectively Pisces and Aries. It’s one of the hottest astrological pairings that exists..and we definitely prove that. My punk’s a Sagittarius, and I haven’t looked into our astrological compatibility yet. But in the years we were friends, we were very much attuned to one another, and I’ll go so far as to say once a week someone will approach me and say that he and I compliment each other. I have actually been told by past flames that I come off as non-sexual, and that they wish I would be as interested in sex as I am in talking. 🙄 Of course, said flames were gone before they delved any deeper. I too am a hopeless romantic, Sam! And I can’t sleep with or consider sleeping with someone if I’m not attracted to their mind either. These days, that’s a rarity, or so I’m told. ---

This is all quite fascinating. Maybe we should move it to the lounge and see who’s what, like the personality type thing- but it looks like we have broad representation on the forum from all the signs. I just went and looked up compatibility with a guy that I am very attracted to but also frequently annoyed by - yep, it came up that that is usually how it is when these two signs try to pair up romantically. Of course it is much more involved than just the sun sign, but it’s interesting. ---
