I really don’t understand…
I’ve done a lot of testing with [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/)+IS combo, it produces amazing results, IF I can get it to diffuse. I work in a retail environment, with the same temperature, and I wear similar clothing from day to day.

I placed this combination:
**3xAmmo**
-\>2xAdam’s Apple
-\>Underside right wrist spread to underside left
**4xIS**
-\>1xleft of Adam’s Apple
-\>1xright of Adam’s Apple
-\>Top of right wrist
-\>Top of left wrist

I wore this combination 4 times…the temperature is the same, the application points the same, congruency is the same. Some days it produces AMAZING effects personally and socially. And other days it doesn’t even seem present, nothing out of the ordinary. I don’t understand how one day I can smell it clearly and it lasts quite awhile, and the next with the same factors I can barley smell it and it isn’t diffusing as it should…

Does anyone know why I have such scattered diffusion?😕

It could be diffusion or one of the many other variables. People have the misconception that there mixes will work the same every day the exact same as the day before.

You have to take in the general mood of those your interacting with. They may be feeling it but something else is distracting them at that time and they are not responding to those feelings. This doesn’t mean they dont get the signal it just means other influence prevent them from responding to it.

For instance ISex (with cops) can make my husband frisky one day and the next he is like a dead fish. It depends on how tired he is and his stress levels that day.

[Pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) can influence but they can not change or over ride other emotions that are being felt. You mention you work in retail. This can be a hectic stressful time of year for shoppers. That may be the outside influence right now.

Being able to smell it has nothing to do with diffusion of the pheromone molecules. Dont use that as your only gage for diffusion. Your own body chemistry changes slightly everyday and that is another variable. Consistent results dont mean 100% results. Some days are going to be hits and some misses. Your looking for a higher percentage overall of hits.

Tisha,

What you say makes perfect sense. However when you talk about how other people’s moods and the effect that mones have on them, I don’t think that’s the problem here. I discussed with Nigs and I have the exact same problem sometimes.

So I have been testing at work (at an office) so generally the people I interact with and the environment are constant. Some days I would wear a mix and get really positive results, and the next day I would wear the exact same mix (or similar) and get nothing. It’s strange because I would not get any self effects and won’t get positive reactions from anyone else either.

We are not sure if it’s a diffusion problem, **but we both noticed that the days we don’t get any results are the days we do not smell the mix on ourselves.** The trend is: The good days, the smell is super strong. The bad days, the smell is barely there. I was kind of thinking that the smell of mones and it’s diffusion are loosely correlated.

But as you were saying with our changing body chemistry, it’s not very deterministic, is it possible to predict it and get around that?

You would have to be very attuned with your own body and moods to get around that. See I don’t have one particular mix I always wear. I wake up in the morning and do a little meditation to get in touch with my body and moods and then determine what mones to wear accordingly.

> [@](#):
>
> I was kind of thinking that the smell of mones and it’s diffusion are loosely correlated.

They are loosely correlated in that the scent acts as a carrier however sillage of a scent is subject to many different variables your not conscious of or have control over.

For instance depending on what you ate for breakfast or dinner the night before there are variables in your body temp. Heat is what causes diffusion of scent.

The climate in the office may seem exactly the same to you and it can be a climate controlled environment however a room with 10 people in it and a room with 5 people in it will have a slightly different climate even in a climate controlled environment. It will also have more scents to process in it.

Your own sense of smell can become conditioned which is totally normal. Scents we are exposed to all the time become less prominent to our consciousness. Some scents can make us unable to register other scents. You don’t consciously smell the mones of the guy standing next to you in the office but they come into play when signaling is concerned because they are signaling as well not just to your targets but you.

Even something as simple is having a cup of coffee or walking into star bucks can change your perception of scent. Just so people know coffee is known to clear the scent palate **after you smell it**. This is why you see little cups of grounds or beans in high end scent stores. Its why drug dealers hide drugs in coffee grounds. The grounds clear the dogs palate the whole time they are sniffing them so they cant process the scent of the drugs. So if you just had a cup of coffee you may smell your mones better that day then on a day you didn’t have any coffee.

Then there are the moods and level of attention I mentioned above that come into play.

Suppose you took a shorter shower that day, the water was slightly hotter or colder, used a new soap, didn’t shower at all. These are small things we dont consciously think of that effect diffusion.

There are hundreds of other variables occurring every day

To try to control them all would just make you obsessed and uneasy and defeat the very purpose of your mones.

> [@](#):
>
> so generally the people I interact with and the environment are constant.

Generally yes but in actuality no. The only constant is change. Our environment, our body, our emotions, our chemistry change constantly. These changes are small and do not really affect us on a conscious level but in smell technology those small minuscule changes are what makes the difference between good hit days and no hit days.

This is why you dont see long time users reporting blatant hit days everyday. Its not that we dont use mones almost everyday. Its just the nature of mones and chemistry. Its why we suggest testing mones with the sweet spot method Steve wrote. Some people see that method and think its so time consuming and to long of a process but there is a purpose to it. Those variables that are beyond are control can mask hits one day and bring blatant hits another.

I dont think there is a way around it, if there is I haven’t found it yet. Again its a pattern of effects that occur **more often** when your wearing mones then when your not that your looking for that will determine if and how your mones are working for you.

If you want to explore about scents and how they affect us and work with our other senses then this is a great place to start

+1 I run out with pheromones on, hoping to take over the world that day, but nothing happens hahaha.

Thanks Tisha for the thorough explanation..

I actually didn’t know about the coffee thing, but in the end that shouldn’t effect the mones. As I learnt, consciously smelling the mones and subconsciously being effected by said mones are different. The latter does not need the former. Anyways, it just got me kind of thinking because from my testing they often really do seem _directly_ correlated. Only the days I smell nothing, I get no results.

My confusion has been mostly cleared up now. So I see that there are hundreds of other variables at play here besides the environment and people you interact with. As you say, being too stringent and hoping to get results everyday is not possible.

Mind you, I’m not sure if it was clear, but I do get positive results maybe 80% of the time. The other 20% isn’t a big deal, I was really curious as to why I get no results that 20% of the time.

Also when you say scent acts as a carrier, could one mone carry another? Through our testing, Nigs and I have found that when you stack IS on top of AMMO, it seems to be more effective. Is it possible that the higher cologne concentration of AMMO is carrying the molecules in IS?

Yes the scent in Ammo could bind with the mones and scent in Ishine and carry both. Layering is the best method if you want to deliver a certain set of signals all at once because depending on where you apply the heat of your body can cause different diffusion rates.

For instance if you spray Ishine on your head or neck and put ammo on the wrists most likely the Ishine will be dominant simply because your head and neck produce more heat then your wrists and its a fast diffuser.

If you layer both on your neck they will diffuse more consistently together. The only difference would be one may last a little longer then the other because depending on the carrier and the weight of the molecules in each mix some may have a slower longer diffusion and some may have quicker shorter diffusion. Ishine tends to be the quicker shorter.

You can control the order of signals to some extent by how and where you apply your mones. This is why I coach men to layer the comfort and social mones over something like TUTH or use Tuth in a less diffusive place on the body.

If TUTH is the dominant mone it can be sort of “in your face sexual” to much of a good thing. It can make people nervous and uneasy.

When your socials are dominant, they tend to put people at ease, cause comfort confidence trust and interest and then the TUTH slowly sneaks in under the radar and arouses.

Its a more productive approach in my opinion.

80% is great though. I think over time you will start to be able to pick up on those variables that occur in the other 20% of the time. Some we can adjust and others we have no control of.

Your bathing/shower habits can also have an effect along with how thoroughly you wash the application areas.

I do agree with Tisha, though. I tend to change my application daily. There are certain things that I keep more or less constant… but I almost never repeat the same mix back to back. There are downsides to this. Sometimes I might have a great day and be unsure exactly of the mix I used. I have the general idea but not the exact amounts of each. That’s simply me being to lazy to keep track of it and just going with what feels right at the moment.

The point, though? Here’s my theory. I’m pretty confident (since it looks like you are using Shine) that you have experience self-effects. However, have you noticed that over time you have started to become more immune to them? Maybe not all do, but I definitely have. Why does this matter?

I’d suggest that a constant and consistent usage of the exact same amount and so forth creates an immunity of sorts. In other words, you become used to it. And possibly that’s why you smell it less. Have you ever worn a cologne consistently for a long period of time and then ended up getting complimented on it when someone new smell it? You eventually stop smelling that cologne yourself. It’s easy to forget you are even wearing it. Likewise, while you might have gotten some compliments from friends when you first started wearing it, eventually they too will become used to your smell.

What we notice most is the change of smell. When someone or some place that we are used to has a new or different smell we immediately notice even if it’s only on a subconscious level. I’d like to suggest that it’s the cognition and recognition the makes the smeller more likely to be consciously and subconsciously affected by and susceptible to the signals the nomes are sending. So I like to alter mixes even if it’s just a little (a little more or less of one or another or both alternatively) to keep it fresh and from becoming redundant. I don’t want to give people a chance to adjust to the smell and ignore the signals because they’ve become expected or “normal”.

That’s just my thought. Granted… it doesn’t really address the retail world… because even if that was the issue… you’d think new customers wouldn’t become immune to something they haven’t experienced before. But then maybe that’s the problem. You become immune to the subtle self effects that the mix produces in you, making it effect you less, which in turn effects/changes the way people respond to you and you respond to them.

After all, you put the same amount on every time so the smell could totally be a conscious aspect of things. You stop smelling it because you become more used to it and it therein loses it “umph”. When you smell it more (because of light changes in possibly a variety of outside factors, self-produced pheros, and so on) it’s like your body’s suddenly better recognizing the signals and this “it’s new/different/react to it” response is triggered.

Do you use it daily or do you notice it not working after a few days in a row and then it comes back after you change it up or are off of it for a few days? That would be helpful data to know. If it is daily regardless and hit and miss days are random… I’d suggest that possibly that might because your natural pheros and body chemistry, emotional state, stress levels, etc. change (as Tisha mentioned) and fluxuate, keeping the mix fresh. However, it does not usually vary all that greatly day in and day out and so after a few days of consistency with it and your mix, you will start to get deadspots. Then it shifts because of any of a number of factors and while your mix may stay constant, scent is new/refreshed again.

Without any further data… that’s my best guess. Maybe it’s a wild theory… but you never know. There could be some validity to it somewhere in there. 😛
