How far away from the person(you want to affect) do you have to be for IShine to work or [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) to work or Instant Honesty to work?🙂

There are many environmental variables that affect the distance. If it’s windy, then your phero sig won’t gt very far unless it’s in the direction the wind’s blowing. If it’s hot & dry, your phero cloud could become very large(\>5ft\<20(?)). If it’s cold & humid, you will have a very small phero cloud (1-5(?)ft). If you’re indoors, then a normal conversation distance would be best. But the phero could would prolly have a radius of ~6ft(?). Also, if you sprayed it on or under your clothes vs skin would effect the distances.

You might want to wait for some other members to reply before you take my post too seriously.

but what is the distance limit of a pheremone(on you) like in a store, school, or a club 😕

and which [pheromone](https://a314.com/) goes the furthest distance(smell) away from you

You should be able to comfortably cover about 20 yards diameter with a few sprays. Of course changazn is correct in his surmise that there are variables that need to be taken into account. Sometimes I can bomb and entire club if the environment is right.

This whole concept is mute without first understanding that your pheromone signature is useless without YOU acting upon the results that are garnered. If someone 20 yards away is affected and yet you never interact with them then it doesn’t matter. On that note they may be affected but by you approaching them your signature gets stronger and stronger as it’s on you. Where they affected at all from 20 yards or only as you were closer? It’s a paradox!

Please realize that on some people, you may get a negative effect, or a positive effect, or no effect. It’s been posted here that it might take like 2-15 minutes for an effect to take place.

First of all, let’s separate the issues.

If you have a tent with 100 people, all spaced equally apart and standing still, and you are in a corner of the tent and there is no air current,

Then eventually everyone will be affected as your pherocloud expands and the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) in the air circulate through the volume of space in the tent by convection. Those closest will be affected first.

IF THEY ARE AFFECTED at all. Some people appear to have no response to some pheromones, sometimes. (Just a disclaimer to keep this honest, I won’t mention it again.)

Now, suppose that while the 100 people in the tent stand still that you walk around them and through them, in, out, back, forth, here, there. You are creating a “pherotrail” behind you. Slower walking lays down a “bigger” trail than fast walking (can you see why?)

The distribution of pheros in the room will happen faster than if you sit or stand still.

Now, let’s also look at what we mean by “affected”.

Pheromones “work” because they produce a chemical change / response in the body when the person comes into contact with the pheromone molecules in sufficient quantity.

In the case where you are still, and the 100 people are still, most of them _will be affected but will not identify you with the effect._ If you just put a cotton pad sprayed with pheromones on a diffuser instead of yourself, the 100 people not moving around would be affected. And they would, if the cotton pad is well concealed, have no clue why.

Now take the case where you move about, slowly walking from one place to another, leaving a “thicker” trail. Humans actually have excellent capability to pick up “scent intensity” and that goes for pheromones as well. They will be able to detect a “gradient” of pheromone concentration … the pheros get stronger they closer they are to you.

Now … remember that people will be affected whether or not you are there if the PHEROS are there. But perhaps more important is that they associated the phero AFFECT with YOU.

That’s where acting in a way that is consistent with your pherosignature comes into prominence. It provides other people with the _cognitive_ data to link you and the phero affect together.

And, as steveo points out, as you approach someone, you are giving them powerful “gradient” data (“the pheros are getting stronger” says the body of the person you approach, or perhaps “I feel even more comfortable/sexy/talkative/like celebrating now that this person is close”) … so when you APPROACH and ACT CONSISTENT with your pherosig, you are leveraging the maximum PERSONAL gain from your pheros.

It’s one thing to have people affected (the molecules interact and produce a chemical response) and another entirely to have them /a/ enjoy the response and /b/ connect the enjoyment to YOU in a conscious way.

Chemical reactions happen pretty fast, close to instantaneous. Getting someone to CONSCIOUSLY associate the chemical change (and good feeling they are feeling) may take a minute or two longer. Maybe even five or perhaps, sometimes, in unusual circumstances, fifteen minutes. (But the more consistent you are behaving with your pherosig, the more data you are giving them to help them come to that conscious recognition. So being CONSISTENT with your pherosig speeds that conscious recognition/association up a lot.)

Moths can detect faint pheromones at a distance of several MILES. Perhaps sometime w e will get scientific models of the distance / concentrations that are necessary to produce responsive behavior in humans, with or without conscious recognition.

Does that help, or make things muddier?

I feel much the same, I guess, and glad to see you steveo, _agent provocateur par excellence_. (I’ve come to lurk now and then but was away most of July and early August.)

You tease me, and perhaps I deserve it. 🙄

One of my favorite Heinlein quotes is where he has a character who is one of the wives of Lazarus Long give this advice “_When a lady enters the bedroom with her man, she takes off her emeralds and does her whorish best._”

In that context, I hope I will always be glad – and eager – to be a gentleman and gallant. 😃😮🆒

What he means is this…

It works different in different enviroments and situations.

Suppose your walking in the store. People are going to only get a quick wiff of it and it will most likely register in maybe half of them. I say half because some people may need longer exposure. Plus some people smoke or have stuffy noses, things like that. They may get a DIHL look or stare or smile but if you dont act on that reaction nothing will come of it.

Now suppose your in a more closed enviroment like a classroom, People are going to be more exposed to it for a bit longer then just passing you by. If the mix is good you will still get the above reactions but now they will talk to you more, seek out your company more, flirt more (read posts about how to spot body language) If you ignore it, sit in the corner and dont respond then nothing will come of it.

Now suppose your on a date and your wearing a good sexy mix. You can expect some of the above and depending on the persons needs and personality you could end up finding your self headed in a sexual direction. I need to say it wont make them do something they are not ready and willing to do but if they are ready and willing they will start sending those signals more often. If you dont act on those signals then no one will come tonight LOL sorry couldnt help myself.

So what Mark and Stevo are saying, very well I like to add, is that you have to make an effort. People will be affected but you need to be willing to interact with them when the subtle cue’s are present. If you dont they may not always realize the feeling they are feeling is coming from you. It will be like a girl thinking “man I feel horny today” as opposed to “Geez that guy makes me horny”

Some forum members have reported “instant” reaction effects… but I think in general those are rare, very rare indeed.

From what I have been able to glean and from my own experience, I would say that although pheromones may indeed cause a near immediate physical reaction, it can take about 5-10 minutes of exposure before those effects “work through” a person and express themselves. There is the matter of personal behavioral “filters” as well. Most every reaction I’ve been able to identify has taken at least 5 minutes+ of “exposure” time, and those reactions are often very subtle. You may be affecting someones behavior, but almost everyone (adult) is going to take some time to sorta figure out what those feelings they are getting mean, and decide how to react to them, if at all. Some may actively work to supress an unexpected feeling, especially if they don’t understand where it’s coming from.

In a basic nutshell, I think you need to be relatively close to someone so that they get a good dose of your pheromones, _and_ can have a pretty darned good idea of who is causing those feelings. Yes, you can create a “cloud” that may affect people standing some yards/meters away, but it will probably be on a very low level, sort of “priming the pump” so to speak. You will still need to move in close for at least a while to increase the effects, and help them identify the source. (Stepping away, and having the effect lessen, will help them to zero in on you as the source.)

Just some quick thoughts.

Tater often gets responses in under 1 minute. With [MX203](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/mx203/) i often go into a Starbucks and while im placing my drink order the cashier woman or the barista will go from aloof to being lit up in neon. I think it depends on the pheremone and how sensitive the person is.
