Hi all! Long time no read. So many people report compliments on how they smell with the [pheromones](https://a314.com/). I have not received even one compliment from anyone regardless of gender, age, stranger, relative, animal, vegetable, mineral, other… This goes for no matter which one I have worn. And I have hugged a lot of these people also. Pink sugar is my cover scent, but I do use it sparingly because it is so strong. I am not a smelly person either. I shower, shave, and use deoderant just like anyone else. What gives here? I used to get complimented all of the time when I wore a specific brand of hairspray. I switched to unscented after purchasing pheros so all of these scents wouldn’t clash. Anyone else have this situation? justonce ---

Maybe if you switched back to your old hairspray you’d get compliments again. Just keep trying different phero combos and you’ll find your sweet spot. 🙂 ---

Just ask someone you trust to smell you. “I feel self-conscious. Do I smell funny?” It’s an awkward question but will get you a straight answer. Maybe they’re just used to that certain smell on you. You smell different and you FEEL different, now that you’ve started using pheros. If you’d like to get compliments again, you could probably go back to your hairspray and just buy a lighter cover fragrance, maybe one that’s similar to the hairspray and soap you use. That way, you could maintain continuity of smells. Pink sugar is strong and sweet. It just may not appeal to some people. It’s my new favorite, but I just can’t wear it if I’m stomach-achey or cramping. Foody scents are like that… just generally bipolar 🙂 ---

I want to know what the good smelling hair spray is. LOL Pink Sugar never fails to earn a compliment when I’m wearing it. Though I burned myself out wearing it too often and it has ruined my taste in other perfumes. I find it hard to believe because I am so biased, but maybe it just doesn’t work with your body chemistry? ---

Is it cold where you are right now. I have noticed most of my compliments on the scent of the mones or any of the other hundreds of cover scents I use happens most in warmer weather. I know this sounds strange but its true. I havnt gotten many scent compliments this winter but in the summer people almost swoon from the scent of certain things and I mean that in a good way LOL. The compliments regarding my hairspray are great, but I was hoping for the compliments to be about the pheros because I thought it would tell me more if an actual hit was occurring. Asking someone is a good idea, which I will do, but I have to find someone really honest. I have never had compliments on any hairspray except this one, no matter the price or whatever. It’s almost ridiculous how much people love this - men, women, children - they all have sniffed me excessively due to this lovely aroma. I was at Target, didn’t need hairspray but guess what I bought? Dove Extra Hold hairspray. Is that the right stuff? On the advice of my stylist, I’ve been using this weird “modernizing” fiber wax mud that is just not working well for me. It’s a bit like spoo! So maybe going back to hairspray will be a good idea. ---

You got the right stuff. Can’t wait until you try it! You may want to try it when you are not wearing a mix of other scents, but maybe it won’t matter. I’m sure wherever you are within the first half hour of putting it on that you will be getting compliments. ROFL about the fiber wax mud/spoo. I recently bought “molding wax” for mine, “pliable hair wax/flexible hold.” I figured the grosser it sounds the better it is. I finally sniffed the hair spray. 🙂 [Pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) wise the hair spray smells like Xcite wipes to me, but I’ve just checked LS and they are gone again. As far as similar perfumes try a whiff of just about any scent from the [Philosophy](http://www.philosophy.com/web/store/dept_fragrance ____ 30502) line, it is definitely reminding me of Amazing Grace. ---

Hi! You are referring to the Dove spray? Did you smell it on hair or from the bottle? Big difference. On hair it is very clean smelling, as Philosophy products. What are Xcite wipes? Yes I meant the Dove hairspray. I sprayed a bit on my hand. LOL Philosophy scents would be a very close match to it. Xcite wipes are pre-dosed pheromones on a towelette. If you do a forum search here you’ll find a bit of info. For the most part they feel like androstenol and maybe est. ---

If you try it on your HEAD and go out around people you know first, I can almost guarantee compliments. Try it, you’ll like it. Unless you hate Philosophy. I’ll look for the wipes. Never noticed them in the store though. Speaking of the store, I don’t see Shine for women anywhere. 😕 Lord, girl - tell me you are on the east coast. I haven’t even heard a rooster crow yet! ---

hahaha no hairy hands here. I wanted a sniff so I spritzed my hand. I did buy some too so I’ll be sniffing it on my hair soon enough. Xcite wipes weren’t available at Androtics sorry to confuse you. They are manufactured in Scotland by Dr. Dodd. LS has them in stock rarely. Instant shine is a unisex product even though the store lists it as a mens product. 🙂 ---
