# Do Instant Shine, Ammo and A314 need a cover scent? **I have a few questions about a cover scent…first is it necessary? I have: [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), Ammo, Instant openness and A314…also have some small honesty and female magic** **I was thinking of getting a bottle of “Super” for men and I was wondering if any one had any good/bad experiences with it…I was also thinking about getting “Phero Boy”…any experiences out there with any of these products** ---

I am sorry I am not an expert, but I got all of the above products and have used them all at the same time without cover scent. Sometimes I will just spray a bit of my favorite cologne on, but just a bit. I don’t think they are necessary. Plus [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) smells good. ---

Instant Shine and Ammo already have sufficient cover scent as they are. Ammo’s frag I actually find to be quite pleasant, if rather linear without much complexity. Apparently Instant Shine has actual neroli EO in it, which is awesome. I think it smells great. But it’s not too overpowering, so it tends to blend really well with any cologne you might be wearing. I use cover scent on Instant Honesty, and I have heard that [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) and Instant Openness could really use some cover as well. Don’t know about A314. ---

Yeah there are great advices above 🙂 All those products have already a light scent that shouldn’t be bad or offensive. Some people however finds that a314’s smell a little annoying or too herbally spicy. If you don’t smell anything strong for your taste, there is no needs of covering with anything ---

Hi Acop2cuffu, I agree with the other guys. I also don’t use cover scents with the already scented products, while I’m used to wear some “dry” smelling cologne when I use Putatives. See ya Franz ---

I noticed Instant female magic & turn up the heat requires a light cover on me,but Ammo works great by itself. ---

Super and pheroboy both have [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) in them already. You can use them in tandam with the products here though and they both do smell yummy. I do suggest you test them out alone first. Some of the men are having great results with them. After that you may want to tweek them a bit with additional pheromones. I have a few from there and they are great but I do tweek them for better effect with other products using the layering method. They have samples sizes just look in the gift shoppe section. Tisha ---

Wow..I never knew so many of the products were covered up. I always assumed that it was usually just for personal taste, rather than for covering up a repulsive smell. I knew IMF was often a culprit that needed some covering up, but I’m surprised at people covering up IH or IO. ---

I wouldn’t call IH or IO “repulsive.” I haven’t tried IO yet, so don’t know from experience, but IH doesn’t smell disgusting. It just has a slightly different chemically smell that might seem somewhat out of place and draw the wrong kind of attention. ---

here’s my cover: if I go with… A314, IS, SOE, I use Hugo Boss Selection as a cover (sometimes Hypnose) A314, IMF, Ammo, I use Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy for men A314, SOE, I use Banana Republic Original (for light citrus…good for work) A314, [MX203](https://a314.com/product/mx203/), I use Gorgio Armani Aqua Di Gio. ---

Instant openness and instant honesty go fine together. Instant openness will give you an open, friendly, chatty feeling. instant honesty will give you a closer feeling like you have known them longer than 10 minutes. Be ready to take some time and talk to people if you wear them because once they start they may not want to stop. Ponderu ---

one more time, hits with Jean-Paul Gaultier “le mâle”. JP Gaultier has made crazy, wonderful scents both for male and female. I almost have more hits with it than with TUTH. Eager to try Ammo.
