Yes everyone is different when it comes to exact doses and how pheromones will work.
The “commercial” line is produced to give similar results for the majority of people: Exact doses and effects will still differ to a degree.
As for using Pheromones while on a cycle of Steroids: There are schools of thought that this will effect your natural pheromone output.
