I was just wondering if there is a “best if used before” date on pheromones. Do they expire or decrease in effectiveness as time progresses? I placed my first order for Instant Shine, Ammo, [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), and Instant Honesty. Can’t wait to try this stuff out! 😃

I believe they’re pretty robust molecules that will last for years in the bottle if not exposed to extremes of temperature, certain bacteria or direct and prolonged sunlight. Have fun with your new pheros!

Nope, they ain’t like milk or meat and won’t expire or go bad on you, so you’ve got nothing to worry about. As ntk said, as long as you don’t expose them to extreme heat or prolonged sunlight.

BTW, I’m glad to see that you went for the social products, instead of just grabbing 2X strength bottles of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) And TUTH.

i took nearly a year off from [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/), and they stayed in a dark room temp drawer the whole time. they are still good as new.

Think about it, most [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) are preserved in friggen alcohol. Plus, like fine wine, whisky or men, pheromone products improve with age.

I have had other products from other places break down after not using them for years. Probably just crappy quaility products though. Never had problems with the products here or LS and I have some bottles that are a few years old.

They should last you years if kept in the correct environment so I wouldnt worry to much about it.

Keep them in a cool dark place. 😉

Why is it that I don’t notice the smell like I did the first couple weeks?

Your brain gets used to it after a while. It’s like when I’m driving, I don’t notice the purr of the engine or the air whistling past an open window unless I accelerate hard or start feeling cold.
