I’ve contemplated this question today. It came to my awareness after some experiments with P130. In previous days, it has helped me eliminate self-talk. Yet today, my fourth day into applying it, I had a nice spontaneous episode (see my journal) I hadn’t had previously.

It has led me to question whether the mones alter your habitual behavioral patterns _permanently_ (or at least for an extended period of time) even after ceasing to use mones for a long stretch of months.

Along the same lines, do mones build upon behaviors that they endeavor to manifest? Do they have a cumulative, exponential effect?

For example - my spontaneous episode today (see [this journal entry](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/the-super-smelly-adventures-of-nostrils-gone-crazy/41708/40)). I believe the experience was the culmination of mones affecting my physiology to the point where there was a type of conditioning taking place.

Note: I take showers every day - thus washing the mones completely off, so the chemo-effect residuals would be null.

However, I believe the _behavioral_ side of things may receive more lasting impact. I think mones have more of a profound and longer lasting influence on our behavior than we may currently believe.

I believe the effects of [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) on behavior can go on for months after not using them. This is not based on proof, test tubes or pipettes, but it is my intuition based on experience garnered thus far.

The only conclusions that can be drawn will result from testing each mone individually over periods of months, even years, and measuring the self-effects therein.

That is very true! I hadn’t thought about it, to the depth you have posted, but I would agree that once you have applied a behavioural change in yourself with the help of the mones, depending on the length of time this behaviour has been applied, you will see it continue for _at least_ the same length of time when mones are discontinued.
Would be very interesting to know, even anecdotally, which would be the case!

Well sure people dont forget how you make them feel.

If someone is wearing Ishine and giving off a uplifting warm joyful vibe those exposed will begin to develop that notion about you.

“wow what a warm friendly person” “They always make me feel good”

These thoughts will remain unless you give them a reason to change those thoughts.

Its much like we talk about with people who have known you a long time and suddenly you start using pheromones. It takes repeated exposure for them to process these new signals sometimes because they have preconceived notions about you already.

Its like reprogramming someones perception of you.

Interesting point on influencing others, Tisha. I hadn’t thought of that angle. My original intent was exploring the self-effects (permanent behavioral changes), but you bring up a valid point.

tacitus and MHarris have talked in older posts about pheromones as useful tools for emotional learning and personal growth - particularly when combined with other techniques.
