# Do pheromones like TUTH work on girls who know you well, like an ex?

The problem could be that people who know you well also know your natural phero-signature well too, and this is basically a subconscious thing. Any sudden dramatic difference in phero-signature could _possibly_ freak your nearest and dearest out, again on a subconscious level. Maybe one should ease in to such situations by starting off with small amounts of artificial pheros and building up.  
Another “distraction” tactic I thought of was to wear some new and different clothes at the same times I was wearing the pheros. It gives, in my theory, a rationalisation or “out” to my friends as to why my “aura” might have changed so radically. Well, I’ve not had any freak-outs from friends so far; indeed they seem to enjoy the benefits of being around IO, Ishine and IG just as much as strangers do.
