Pretty self explanitory really.

Do [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) still have an effect on people when they are stuffy from a cold or allergys and cannot smell anything?

From my experiences, the effect aren’t as strong when people have stuffy noses.

Instant openness for example, didn’t affect me at all when I got a cold

Interesting. I know that pheromones arent in the actual smell but that they reach certain receptors, question is do those receptors function the same way with a stuffy nose or when allergies are playing up.

So thats one for less effective.

Well the receptors work but the molecules have trouble reaching them thus a lesser effect. For one you got some gunk going on in there for the molecules to stick to. Then when your congested your sinus cavity swells a bit so that makes it more narrow and harder for the molecules to reach there desired destination.
