Hi there,

I’ve been browsing the internet for tips and advice, and I’m really intrigued by this forum. My situation is as follows and I’d appreciate any comments and suggestions:

I am bisexual and am interested in a particular friend of mine, who I believe is also bisexual. He and I have had a few intimate moments over the 10 years that we’ve been friends, although for him I believe it was just a bit of fun/experimentation, whereas for me it was much more profound. We are both at separate universities, but we meet up with our friends over the holidays. Over the last year or so our friendship has become more strained - possibly because he realises that my feelings for him are stronger than he once thought.

Now, we are both due home in a week and will no doubt meet up over the Christmas period for a drink/chat and I’m hoping there’s a way to reignite the ‘something’ that used to exist between us. I would like to know, if possible, the following:

- Do [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) work on gay/bisexual men. I’ve heard of mystery boy and would love to know of any personal experiences.

- Do/can pheromones work on people that already know one another. He knows me already and no doubt has an image of me in his head - is it possible to alter that image with pheromones (any other ideas here)? Much of the forum discusses meeting new people, so I would love to know if they can work on/affect existing relationships.

- If there is potential with my situation, however remote, what would you recommend I purchase? Obviously in an ideal world I’d spray a few pheromones and he’d be attracted to me, but I’m guessing the science behind it isn’t quite that simple… However, I’d like to seem more impressive, confident and attractive to him. I’ll never forget a time when he said that I had a twinkle in my eye! Are there any suggestions?

In addition to pheromones, is there anything else you’d recommend I try? I’ve been working out and losing a bit of weight, I’ve got some new clothes too. Of course, this is all rather superficial but I’d still like to give it a shot (perhaps I’m deluding myself!). Any books to read, or styling tips etc are all appreciated!

Phew… I think that’s everything! Sorry it was such a long post… If you made it this far, thanks for sticking with me!

All the best,

Dave

Hi Dave welcome to the forum. A search would help you to find posts and info until the other forum members reply. Also don’t forget to introduce yourself in the Intro section of the forum to receive a 15$ gift certificate.

If you don’t see him regularly then I doubt that you would have to worry about confusion with your changed [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) signature. What he would notice is that there is something different about you, but would probably attribute the change more to weight loss, new clothing or that sparkle in your eyes.

Good luck!

Hello Dave

Be sure to take inklings advice so you can benefit from the GC. 🙂

Now here are some words on the subject from the creator and High mone king MHarris …

> [@](#):
>
> **MHARRIS**
> Gay men are not well served by the typical male heterosexual pheromone product. As we’ve discussed before, their temperament and their culture are completely different.
>
> In heterosexual culture, there’s lots of male bravado at bars and nightclubs. Men are often unfriendly or insulting to other men. There’s often fighting and other shows of male aggression. There’s the “big chimp” syndrome. You could call it a high [androstenone](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/) culture.
>
> I can’t say I have homosexual culture pinned down, but it’s most certainly different.
>
> When we first had gay men testing our products, they enjoyed the increased attraction, but complained about them bringing on unwanted aggression.
>
> A314 actually worked well as an attractant for most of our testers, perhaps better than it does when used by heterosexuals, but even with A314, there were unwanted negatives in bars and nightclubs. They felt that it brought attributes of heterosexual nightclubs that they perceived as negative.
>
> Apparently, there’s not much of the “big chimp” syndrome in the gay culture.
>
> It’s all very interesting.
>
> For these reasons, Mystery Boy is much lighter… more “fun” and less aggressive. Minimal [androstenone](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/), and more elements of products like [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) and the experimental Spaceland mix are used. A good feeling, party atmosphere formula.
>
> It’s also a department store quality, professional, attention getting cologne, much like [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/).
>
> That’s very important in the gay culture. Most gay men have very good, and you might say… expensive… taste. All details much be looked after, or they have no interest in a product at all. We even needed to invest more time and money in the label design, otherwise they wouldn’t even consider it.
>
> I think we’re probably the first company that can deliver the quality on the outside of the package, as well as the inside, that they’re looking for. It’s a tough market. In a real way, a really wonderful market to work in, since it provides many challenges… and I like a challenge. Most breakthroughs happen in response to good challenge.

**And another …**

> [@](#):
>
> Bi-Curious, are you? 😉
>
> Gay men like men, so “male” pheromones tend to be as attractive to gay men, as they are to hetero women.
>
> HOWEVER, the gay culture is very unlike hetero culture.
>
> Our gay testers reported increased attraction with most of our male products – including A314 – but with unwanted side effects, including acts of male aggression.
>
> Not the kind of male aggression they actually want.
>
> Gay men may be sexually aggressive with each other, but we’ve been told that bar fights and untoward social behavior is VERY unusual at gay bars and clubs.
>
> On the contrary, if you go out at any popular time to hetero bars, you’ll always run into a bar brawl somewhere. You’ll always see “chivalrous” and outright physical aggression and social dominance of one sort or other, from hetero man to hetero man.
>
> Hetero men like to “dominate” each other socially, and will hurt each other as a display of physical prowess. They’ll actually do it to impress women.
>
> On the other hand, gay men don’t participate in behaviors this (in public, anyway). In public, they tend to be friendly with each other. Much more carefree and accepting of each other. They go out to have fun, and there’s no need for display of public prowess or domination.
>
> So for [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/), we used a mix of primarily “male” pheromones, and a large amount of [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), on a base of comforting, “fun” female pheromones – someone like what you’d find in the B mix of Instant Sexiness.
>
> It works well, but not everyone likes the scent (which is the same as found in [Ammunition](https://a314.com/product/ammo/)).
>
> They gay community tends to embrace anything and everything from Calvin Kline (CK), so we’re going to switch over to something more those fragrances in a future version. (CK scents tend to be simpler, and more “toned down” than what you find in cool smelling [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/))

So there you have it, there are mones that work well for Gay or Bi males.
Hope this helps some, we do have a few gay or bi users who post on the forum so be on the lookout for there posts and what works for them.

Of and welcome to the forum 🙂

thanks everyone, i’ve been browsing the forum for similar threads and it’s all been very informative! i think i’ll take a stab at purchasing mystery boy.

Does anyone know what other products might work well in conjunction with MB? I’ve read that there’s a good deal of instant shine already in it so presumably I wont need a separate bottle of that. Any other recommendations? Or will a bottle of MB be enough?

Thanks everyone 😃

I would suggest getting another social to go with it. I am thinking IH would be great. 😉

Well, it’s currently being marketed with:

> [@](#):
>
> For a limited time, with the purchase of a full bottle of Mystery Boy, we’re also going to give you 4 To Go (5ml) size freebies.
>
> You get:

That’s a great deal, and I think the androtics folks must have given a bit of thought to what might complement MB. That assortment should keep you busy experimenting for a while.

hey, thanks for the replies!

Looks like the freebies (P88 etc) are out of stock atm, so I think i’ll get MB on its own and instant honesty as suggested.

Great tips, hoping they all help!
