> Yeah, the caveats and background information on -none on this forum and on the Androtics site are key here. Of course, if some of these products from the dodgier, spammy websites actually contained significant amounts of -none, they’d be dangerous, sending the newb off down the club without prepping him on the nature of the molecule, and its role as an often antagonistic signal to others.
>
> With Androstenone being a main player on the stage of _natural_ human pheromones, it has been very interesting for me to experiment with it in artificial doses, and a real learning experience. I appreciate that many folks might want to see results fast with it, and they may do, but unfortunately the results may be not to their liking! But I have found personally that I have explored a part of my personality with the help of Androstenone usage, and become a better person for it; it has been a very interesting ride. It’s kind of like an archetypal thing! I have learned to love -none. I should say that I am pushing 40 as well and so have the profile to get away with wearing it more easily…
>
> It possibly isn’t for everyone though… the “one size fits all” phero-approach of dousing men in -none has been quite rightly called into question on this forum. But with a little background information and careful usage, the molecule gives a very interesting insight into the dynamics of masculinity and inter-sexual behaviour IMHO.

Right. It’s for experts (or at least those mildly enlightened) and can truly be a good help, but it’s sold mostly to novices under airy fairy pie-in-the-sky false pretenses. As if it could do no wrong, and the more the merrier. Not good!

Even on here when people have AMPLE warnings about the REALITY of androstenone, we’ll still get posts every now and then saying things like “I wore TUTH and a cop got into a fight with me! Wtf?”

You have to be careful when playing with fire.

> It does seem like a nice picture, but i have seen this exact same picture used over the last few years in advertisments by various sellers claiming to produce pheromones.

It’s a picture of an analytical machine that takes up to 60 samples.

60 samples of what… Monty Python Molecule #Fraudulen?

This is no different than picturing an HPLC or other analytical machine. It’s incongruent.

A spectrometer, especially, is not used in the actual production like they imply. A lot of formularly labs don’t even have one, unless they do synthesis on site. Even then, they usually use TLC to check each synthesis step.

This is just a stock photo, retouched by deprecated criminal minds. Period.

I’m not going to educate criminals and con men reading this, but almost anyone honest here is free to make a scheduled visit to our production lab. We don’t do synthesis onsite there anymore (and never have at Androtics West, only east), but you’ll get to see what is used on a daily basis to formulate and send product. Very, very different. When we show you the machines used, you’ll have a big “duh” moment.

Jasmin,

I know what you are basically saying with the ovulation thing but at the same time there are quite a few women users here have said they do react routinely to 'none - and by that I would take it to mean whether they are ovulating or not. In fact River’s trick mentioned above seems to be a not-so-uncommon happening …

Now don’t get me wrong - I do not disagree with you about TUTH or [Instant Jerk](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/) not being the forumla you want guys spending most of their daily time in.

>

Well that is sorta what I think of most people who wear Axe as heavy as they seem to do …

But which formula would Opera want to talk about? Sex sells. If it did not you would not have so many guys asking about TUTH or women asking about IS/a or b or copulins.

But its the high androstenone/special effect type products that draws them in and generates a lot of sales even here …

Great points.

Sex does sell, and non-sexual pheromones actually don’t sell to the mass market at all. Most people have been programmed to think that sex = pheromones, so if you mention the actual reality of pheromones, you’re viewed as a weirdo or nut.

A real shame, too, since “weirdo” formulas like A314 and [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) are probably some of the most interesting pheromones out there in terms of other-than-directly-sexual benefits. And, of course, there’s no saying that a little A314 driven authority and success can’t lead to high quality connections.

So, anyway… yes, we’ll make Ammo or anything else mass market as sexy as we can, and only talk about in sexy terms. The formula will be as sexy as it can be, that is, _without_ polluting.

I don’t want to come off as an overly conservative librarian type here, but there’s a lot of alternate technology out there other than none (p83, p93, etc.). You can also have some -none but still balance it out w/other things. Like all of the traditional mixes that use a little -none and a lot of alpha nol. Something like that, but updated, wouldn’t be so bad for sexual effects. Would it? It’s sort of a classic approach, I think.

Even when we focus on sexual benefits, we still want to make our primary mass market product to be “life safe” product. We’re not about to talk about that in the marketing for it, but we really feel that’s our responsibility on the engineering end of things.

Back-end catalog products could be stronger, and certainly anybody that trips over this site of ours will find some very strong things, but neither back-end nor what we’ve done so far as Androtics are very mass market. The whole way we have things setup here is non-mass market to the core.

Think of the mass market vs. niche formulation in terms of colognes for a moment.

Not only do more people wear Axe, but more people _abuse_ Axe, some wearing wearing what would be 20 to 50 of a normal cologne. People who have the ability to research and find better colognes, often not only have better taste in scent, but also exhibit a higher degree of restraint in their behavior. You won’t find anyone wearing 20 to 50 sprays a Clive Christian or Creed product.

Take someone like my younger brother. You’ll never find on a site like this, or with any of our stronger products. “P whatevah, but oooh, Ammo looks cool, dude!” I was even worried about him using Ammo. He was putting on 10, 15 sprays… Warnings didn’t matter one bit. _rolls eyes_

He’s actually my everyday example of why a mass market product needs to be designed _carefully_! 🙂

Where’s River’s trick, btw?

Agree completely. I often tell guys to not underestimate the power of the social products especially in the romance realm.

I seem to do better with beta nol … what are your experiences with that?

Hehe. More good points.

I actually prefer beta-nol, usually. I like what it brings out in people. I think I have more of a natural “alpha nol” personality, so it may be that it lets me enjoy life more on the “other side”. That place where the grass is greener, and all that. 🙂

Yes, TUTH is _grrrreat_ in bed. Under your nose, on your chest, wherever.

I think it has a good name, too, that tells people WHAT IT DOES and WHEN/WHY to wear it. It’s a very honestly named product, and I’m happy about that.

The problem is when names aren’t taken literally. People are used to everything being vaguely or artsy fartsy, so they don’t necessarily connect a name to reality. That’s why some newbies spray on Turn Up The Heat for social occasions or at funerals. 😮

Me too - my wife tells me and sometimes is exasperated by the fact that I can and will just walk up to and start a conversation with anyone. May not always go over well, but usually it does.

I think there are a lot of things at play:

Unreal expectations of new users based on movies, hype from other sites (can you spell Pherlure?) built on real lack of knowledge about what pheromones do.

I believe your smartmones pages are accurate in what they say - and often users read too much into them or read only the parts they want to read based on their unreal expectations. TUTH is a great example.

At the same time I know it would be difficult to weave say the ideas of Tisha’s “What pheromones can do …” as well as your philosophy on 'none use as we have been discussing in this thread into those sales pages.

From what I’ve noticed, the pheromone companies that overtly advertise using scantily clad women and lots of hype about women falling into your lap - those are usually not legit _cough_ Pherlure _cough_

The only legit companies I know are Androtics and LS.

Hmm wonder where she got that trick from ? Jasmin any ideals LOL j/k. The ladies have been doing this for some time now. Its a great way to increase aggressive during sex and arouse yourself without getting all cranky from to much anone. I would do it everyday though. Good goddess imagine if it built up LOL

Keep being weird because the variaty is one of the reasons I adore these products. Its what really turned my interest from a casual fun thing to do once in a while to a interesting adventure. I like the sexual products but I have much more fun with the others.

I think the dynamic is different in a committed relationship.

The evolutionary basis seems to be the genetic diversity acquired when a female briefly steps outside a committed relationship to get impregnated, and then often returning to the committed relationship for child rearing. Anone seems to signal good prospects for genetic donors. If the strategy is to be followed effectively, such matings must be brief and at the optimal time for impregnation.

However, a woman in a coimmitted relationship can afford to indulge her desire for “forbidden sex” at any time of the month, as long as it is with her committed partner. She is not running the same risk of losing the committed relationship that her counterpart seeking sex outside the committed relationship is. I hypothesise that this is why the reactions to anone differ.

Another effect in our modern society may be that many women are self sufficient and do not need a provider. The evolved inhibitions may therefore be overridden by their rational mind and their desires. Such women may be more open to anone stimulation at any time of the month.
