lmao!!! I went through the same thing when i wore it to work. My friend - who would tell me if I was rank, said she couldn’t smell a thing tho. I said - no cheese? she said no cheese.
You know, I never ever smelled the cops in MX134 until recently. I wonder if the smell becomes more prominent over time? Same thing happened to me and it was harder to cover than EOW dried down. Nobody said I smelled though. I could really smell it in the car.
I definitely smelled the cops. First application, I knew.
I remember giggling at it, because it was somewhat unexpected.
Nobody else seems to smell cheese the way I do for the first few minutes, they just say it smells like “bad perfume”. A friend of mine said she liked the smell and spritzed herself with some, not knowing what it was, so I’ll have to ask her if anything interesting happened afterward. ![]()
how does anyone that knows you feel comfortable spritzing themselves with something they find of yours ???
you must be in a circle of mad-hatters !
way cool ![]()
For a long period of time, I carried so many things in my purse that it wouldn’t close, so friends of mine just started assuming they can go through it as they please. While it does get annoying from time to time, everyone has their moments. The guys think everything in my purse is “perfume” and they spray them on one another so they will “smell like a girl all day”… I’m going to have to put a padlock on my purse or something or they’ll get more use out of the mixes than I do. ![]()
Um…and what is their motivation for doing this? ![]()
Seriously, I haven’t told anyone about this yet, so I’m definitely wondering what people will say if they find spray bottles with mysterious numbers and “Androtics Research” printed on them.\
ETA: Oh, they do it to each other. Wow, I’m a total idiot. I get it now, LOL

A lot of people have asked what my text mixes are, because they are the only ones I carry with me. I just tell them it’s perfume and that’s that.
And they buy that? With MX135 printed on the side?
I tell people I’m doing product research eg colognes etc. Many know I already do questionnaires (usually in the mail) I get from various “opinion research” places. And I usually jump at the chance to get grilled at the mall by some clipboard wielding sweet young thing. When I mention I sometimes get paid for it (sometimes they send a $1 or two… once I got $5) it suddenly changes from being “odd” to “hey cool!” And since we sometimes get Gift Certificates, samples, etc from Androtics I can honestly say the same for the MX stuff and Putatives… I ain’t lyin’.
It helped my credibility when Dial came out with a bath soap bar for men that has a fragrance in the same family as Alter Ego and TUTH cover scents…
No one touchs my Purse EVER !!!
They know better in my house. Even if I tell my husband or kids to get something out of my purse they will bring the whole thing over to me. I in turn never touch my husband or sons wallets.
I just say perfume samples if someone see’s them. No ones ever asked about the MX numbers but if they did you could just say they havn’t named it yet which is true.

I do that as well and get alot of free products. The best paying company so far is Pinecone research which is hard to get into. They give you $5 for every survey plus if they send me free products to try I get another $5 for testing them. I get about 4 or 5 surveys a month now. You can only join them if you click on a banner they have posted on another website. They usually put there banners in live chat rooms like Paltalk.

Surprisingly, yes, they do buy it. I tell them it’s perfume, they say “Oh”, and proceed to spray it on each other. >_>
I’m in the process of training them to ASK before going through my purse, since I can’t really afford to keep replacing mixes that they waste. A few lady friends know that they’re pheromones, but don’t press the issue. One of them once saw my essence of woman and said “Is this that stuff that makes people rape you?”
I must have died laughing.
Oh, my God; that’s funny.
I once joined an online group that was purported to be for product/consumer research, but all that really ended up happening is my email inbox got clogged with offers of “free plasma TV!” if I filled out a questionaire and then agreed to a “trial” of at least two offers. I refuse to set up these “trials” because, as many know, it’s just a regular subscription with a month free which you then have to cancel (sometimes with great difficulty).
I will check out Pinecone research. I have done focus groups before and I enjoy participating in this sort of thing (not just for the samples and money but for hearing about new products/ideas before they are lauched).
Oh yeah, you gotta read the fine print and between the lines…
I don’t sign up for anything until I’ve vetted it as best I can, and do nothing on-line. Also helps that I have a PO box so some of my demographics are “secret.”
Noticed some of those “surveys” and “contest entries” are little more than attempts to get you on some spam/junk mail lists.
You do have to be really careful with the companys you pick but there are a few good ones online that wont spam you at all. I like Mystery shopping better than the surveys because that pays more and the MS companys never spam.
