This would be a dream to implement within a few years!!! 😮

Pretty neat-o. I’d love to see it work

Looks alot like a wankel (read: Rotary) engine.

Will probably have similar major problems:
1 - Uneven heating causing distortion within the engine body
2 - Said uneven heating + constant rotary action wearing out seals
3 - Eventually seals wear out burning your oil and dramatically reducing your efficiencies.

On top of that the Rotary engine also has very high theoretical efficiencies due to the nature of rotary action instead of the pistoning action for most ICE’s - They don’t end up meeting those efficiencies because the size/shape of the combustion chamber results in inefficient/incomplete combustion (The RX-8 has a complicated exhaust system specifcally to deal with this problem)

Basically - looks real good on paper, show me a working system that can make it through a decent 24 hr stress test and we’ll talk.
