Women in Texas have become used to certain things…remember, everything’s bigger in Texas! 🆒

> I don’t think you were at all. In terms of relationships, women want two things. Security and the ‘means’ to produce young who are fit, healthy and who possess the qualities to then continue to have children themselves. The ‘means’ being far more subconscious. **Women are very rarely in a relationship where they have both of those things**

I am going to have to disagree with the bolded out part. Why do you think its rare that we have relationships with both of those aspects.

I have Security and my husband can certainly produce fit children. I know thousands of couples who have these attributes in there relationships.

My son has been in a relationship for 4 years and although he is young (22) they have this in there relationship.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what your referring to. 😕

Oh and most of us want more then just those two things LOL 😃

I’m gonna agree with Tish on this one, but one thing I think we’re all overlooking is this: People, and women in particular in this case, can’t be categorized and lumped together based on just a couple of facts. Everyone’s different, and there are many perfectly happy, “liberated” if you will, single women that love the occasional ONS and don’t NEED your security OR your sperm quality. On the flip side, there are many women who are married to or in a relationship with a man that may not completely fulfill all of her sexual fantasies who would not even think about cheating. There are way too many variables and trying to figure them all out would give Freud a migraine.

I think there’s enough women out there that are comfortable having a ONS as long as it’s up front and honest, without falling into the “slut” category. To me, they’re only considered a “slut” if they’ll sleep with anyone with money, a Harley, or whatever their particular weakness is. However, like I said before, friends with benefits can be so much more fun…

This is a great example, and totally true of a lot of people I know.

And any relationship based on just two aspects doesn’t seem to be like much of a relationship; the more the better.

I’m talking about the entire population of women which is reasonable since I acknowledge that the needs and wants is a ubiquitous genetic trait of the female. I’d say about 5-10% (which is well above your many thousands!) have their ultimate needs fulfilled in terms of a relationship.

> My son has been in a relationship for 4 years and although he is young (22) they have this in there relationship.

It’s interesting that you mention both the relationship of you and your partner and the relationship with your son and his partner. Your certainty of your son’s qualities is made by reasonable assumption because he is of biological decadency to his father. You procreated with his father because of you believed he ticked the box to give you a child which will also be suitable for continuation of the species. Simply, you had a child with your son’s father because you knew (not thought) that your child would have a positive impact on the continuation human species. This is one of the reasons why I think so many parents protect their children who are on the wrong side of the law. Because they know (not assume) due to their decision to procreate that their offspring must also be a positive addition to the human society.

When I say “you” in the above paragraph, I don’t mean to tell you what _you_ are/were actually thinking. It’s my opinion, not me telling you how you think 🙂.

I believe that maternal instinct or “mother knows best” can be defined as the affirmations that mother has that she has made the decision to procreate with a man with certain attributes and therefore her offspring must and will adhere to those attributes. Mostly because they share the genetics of the mother and father and partly from nurture. Of course, there is debate whether these attributes can or cannot be passed down through genetics.

A figure I’d love to know is how many abortions are performed by women who becomes pregnant with a man with whom she does not find ultimately sexually attractive (in the very most primal sense) and how many abortions are performed by women who becomes pregnant with a man with whom she does find sexually attractive. When I say sexually attractive, I don’t mean just physical. I mainly mean what I mentioned earlier as the “means” to create children. These figures would never be known because these thoughts are rarely conscious.

Now if we swing right back down to mones, ONS’s and PUA etc; the above explanation is why I believe that beautiful, intelligent and empowered (as Radman said) women can and will have ONS’s with men with whom society would believe could never have sex with those types of women. And I’m not saying that’s you CoolKat!

also, BEAUTIFUL is relative… Radman and many other guys here seem to like thick, “healthy” girls with some meat, boobs, ass and tan. I like girls with really cute/pretty faces; the body part - as long as they aren’t anorexic, fat, REALLY small-boobed, I am okay with it.

Hmm. Not an expert but here’s my take on things based on what I’ve heard. _cough_

Alcohol was invented in the dark ages and is the key to all of the below. Hehehe. Anyway.

Males have been known to lower their standards drastically for ONS because all they want to do is pump. Females however, get dolled up and go to the bars / pubs hoping to get laid with the delusion that with the sex and intimacy they share with the horny bastard, he will somehow magically develop feelings for her overnight. They are more choosy who they sleep with (usually).

The theory behind this discrepancy is that women are always on the hunt for good genes / sperm so they can improve their subsequent lineage.

Men are just programmed to deposit their sperm far and wide and everywhere they can.

Unfortunately, with the advent of STDs and paternity / child support legalities, all this becomes more of a headache than fun.

I don’t know about this. Girls that do ONS’s go for things based on looks, even though the guy might work at seven-eleven for life, lol

That is a valid point. If you’re never going to see them again, who cares where they work? A nice car/bike/suit or whatever floats her boat is a nice magnet, but charm and good looks will pretty much do it for most women looking for ONS I guess.

As far as STD’s and child support, while it’s not 100%, I never go out at night without a couple condoms in my pocket. And I NEVER get too drunk to remember to put it on!

The poor seven-eleven dude may forget to put it on. LOL. Bloody child paternity lawsuits.

I dont disagree on the natural order or the primal instinct theory. I just didnt agree with the statement you made that I bolded out. However… Even though I agree we are instinctual when it comes to attraction unlike other mammals we dont rely solely on our instincts and this is where our primal instincts end up taking the back seat to our preferences and logical side.

This is the part I was referring to…

I dont think its rare for women to have both these things (security and the means to produce young) in a relationship.
