I’ve noticed on a few of the products I was looking at, TAL, P79 and maybe the edge, you can choose a dosage in mcg (what exactly is that by the way?) and what dosage should you choose, is the lowest at 2.5mcg just the standard that you should get and the higher ones are used for creating larger batches of a mix or commerical purposes? cheers guys.

Yep … it’s Pheros by the pound, … err, micrograms per spray. These are the [experimental pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/product-category/advanced-pheromones/experimental-pheromones/) preparations, just like you can order experimental chemicals in various strengths.

If you are cooking up your own recipe, having different strengths can make it easier to get the mix you want.

There’s no right answer to “how strong” … you lays your bets and takes your chances … because what will work for you will come from experimenting, right?

Cheers

PS: I tend to look at the 10 mcg per spray concentrations: the pricepoint is right for me. But in -none, for example, some people prefer to apply 1.0 to 2.5 mcg **in total**. Again, it depends on the item and who’s using it and how…

Different [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) work most effectively at different amounts…there’s no real ideal standard amount that can be applied for all pheromones. Some work well at a mere 2.5mcg, while others at well over 25mcg. Things get tricky when the folks at AD don’t sort the dosing out for you..a lot of it is a matter of trial and error. And while it sucks to have to spray 10 sprays of anything to get an ideal effect, it sucks equally trying to control the effects of an overly concentrated bottle. All my putative and test series bottles are at 2.5mcg per spray currently. I’m quite drenched in perfumers alcohol after putting mixes on sometimes. Luckily the stuff evaporates fairly quickly. I’ll definately be opting for more concentrated bottles next time around.
