# Dosed tuth?

I have read that tuth is the only dosed [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/). What does it mean exactly?

That means that there is 2.5 mcg of androstenone per spray of turn up the heat

well doesn’t ammo have 2.5 of none per spray too? How come ammo is not dosed?

Who said that ammo is not dosed?

It was just an example with the 2.5 mcg of androstenone.

Other instant line and oil product are dosed, so you can control how much pheromone you spray

Which means you get consistent micro grams per spray (+/- 5%). With older -none products, you wouldn’t get consistent results cause you either got very little per drop, or you got too many drops (primal instinct).

It simply means Androtics has figured out the approximate spray yield of [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) for you. With other companies they list the volume of carrier and amount of pheromones dissolved therein. Not too hard to figure dosage if you use a consistent application method, have a logical mind and took HS science. Doses or not, you still need to experiment to find the optimal dose for you. I haven’t found this process any easier with “dosed” sprayheads vs self measured vs counting pipette drips.

I normally transfer Androstics products to a Sephora atomizer anyway. They’re easier to travel with: virtually leakproof, difficult to break, much smaller (about the size of lipstick) and have a finer spray mist. With a little practice I figured out my own “dosed” amounts per spray.
