Alright, here it is. Sorry for the delay. I blame the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/). No. Seriously. They apparently have quite an impact on me and those around me. It has been an excellent, excellent couple of days…

Anyway, the point of this exercise is to develop your ability to do a few things:

1. Record your dreams
2. Reinforce or train your system to be able to recall dreams more clearly
3. Train your system to recognize the process of dreaming as important
4. Learn to appear as an active observer in your dreams
5. Learn to allow the dreams a more clear manner in which you may communicate your desires to your subconscious.

And a few other things but I am not really planning on staying on format. Deal.

This whole thing is based on the concept of the subconscious as an organic quantum computer, capable of examining vast amounts of information. This computer will always, given the right data, make the best choices for the organism.

It is also based on the idea that you and I, the person or being reading this line of text, is not really in touch with the subconscious. What you and I are, for lack of better terminology, a simple process of the organism, moving forward in time.

What you perceived two seconds ago is not who you are now, and by the time you get to the end of the period at the end of this sentence, you will most likely not be able to remember how in the hell this damn long sentence started in the first place. Hey, you peeked. For those that can, I am really glad for you. Show off.

This is what we call consciousness. That absolutely indefinable aspect of us that is neither our foot, nor our hand, nor the brain. It is invisible, and has been portrayed (incorrectly, I would contend) as separate from the body and at varying times called the mind or soul and other things.

But this part of us is the part that interacts with the physical world and can come to conclusions as to desire.

So how do we get the subconscious talking to the conscious?

How do we get the conscious part of you that is, for all intents and purposes, the hardware and the data entry person, to communicate its desires to the quantum computer of the subconscious? And why?

The why is simple. The quantum computer, if given the proper instruction, will literally help you figure out how to achieve nearly any goal. It takes practice, determination, and simple persistence. Nearly any and all occult organizations, no matter your moral objections to the type of magic they do, will advise newbies and initiates to keep dream journals.

Some will use these for ill, others for good. I am of the opinion is that the dream journal should be private, only for the sake of not giving your enemies and competitors ammunition.

But the process begins as sort of a dance. What you must know is the quantum computer doesn’t speak in words, it speaks in images and metaphor. This technique can get the two parts functioning together better…

So, this is the prelude, and I will type more as I am able. I have had an interesting few days.

If you buy all these above premises, I will warn you that they could potentially be bullshit. They are only my take as to why this works so effectively. I could be completey off my rocker as to my reasoning, logic, and thinking. My metaphors may work for this age, but I know they barely scratch the surface as to why this works…

But, after all… If success and results are the goal… Then he who is mindful of the how is careless of the why.

But the technique is sound, and produces real, measurable results that are repeatable. More to come.

Items Needed:

1. A spiral bound notebook, or some other journal. I prefer the large ones.
2. A pen that is to be used for this exercise and this exercise only.
3. A candle or nightlight
4. A blanket

Here is the technique. Do not worry about why this works, only how it works. I can make guesses as to why it works, and alot of guru types claim they know why it works, but that’s not important. If you are after results, this is what you do.

Preparation procedure:

1. Commit to the exercise and do it every night. If you fail to do it every night, do not beat yourself up. No big deal. Only persistence will make this work and nothing else. Just pick it up again when you note you have been slacking, with no negative emotions tied to it. This is a skill that is easy to do, but takes simple persistence to build, just as one lifts a weight to be able to lift more weight.

2. On the first page of your journal, draw a spiritual symbol that calls out to you. I don’t care what it is, whether its a cross, a star, a cow, a screw driver, whatever. Just any symbol which you find comforting and gives you a sense of power. Even your initials will suffice.

3. Leave this book, with a pen, next to your bedside at all times. It must be easily accessible, and have a working pen near it. You don’t go digging for a pen first thing in the morning, you need to make it less work to avoid rolling over and going back to sleep.

Logging Procedure:

1. A few minutes before you go to sleep, open your book and turn to the cover page where you drew your symbol.

2. Turn the lights down low, and light a candle or get a nightlight going. You want it to be dark, just bright enough so you can see the symbol on the first page. You also want to block out other stimulus, so make sure it is quiet, no music or noise or anything else except you and your symbol, and just enough light to see it.

3. Pull a blanket over your head like a cloak, just enough so that the only thing in your field of view is the symbol.

4. Look at the symbol and chant “My journal of dreams, my journal of dreams,” over and over, staring at the symbol the whole time. Commit to doing this for a full five minutes at least. The longer the better.

Really lose yourself in the chant, and the experience of looking at the symbol.

1. Blow out the candle and go to bed as normal, and just try to forget the experience of what you just did with the chanting and such. Just go to bed think relaxing thoughts.

2. Upon waking in the morning, roll over and grab your book. Write as much down as you remember. This is not to be done frantically. Accept now that you will not be able to write it all down and its fine. Just write as much as you remember in as relaxed a manner as possible. If you don’t get it all down, no big deal.

If you cannot remember your dream, try to recall and write down important objects, images, people, things, etc., just nouns will work. If you can’t recall anything at all, then simply write down your mood upon waking… Was it anxiety? Happiness? Calm? Whatever you can recall.

1. Once you have written it down, make sure you write down the date or day of the week next to the entry, put the book away, and go about your business as usual until the next evening, when you will do it all again.

And doing this simple exercise is the first step in learning how to program your own mind.
