Since I’m still new at this (and my order is coming 😃 😃 😃) I have some questions about how climate can affect the diffusion of [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/).

I live in Alberta, which is basically a plateau: high elevation, flat lands, prairie, dynamic weather and DRY AIR. It is ridiculously dry.

Winter is approaching and mornings are cold, and since I have the disposition of a cold-blooded reptile, I cover up with scarves and mittens and the occasional hat. My hair is distractingly long and at school and work I keep it up in a bun or make braids.

SO, how does dry weather influence the diffusion of pheromones in general? I’ve found that my perfumes, lotions, and any kind of scents disappear rather quickly so I take it that my skin just absorbs it faster.

Would keeping more hydrated help?
Certain lotions? ie. scentless or really really creamy.
Applying pheromones to clothes?
Or what body parts are more likely to be effective?
Etc.

Any help and advice would be wonderful. Magical even.

Thanks ladies!

Very interesting question! I’ve always wondered about it too, since I live in a really cold city (it’s crazy in the winters) I literally have to wear layers of clothing.

When it’s cold, I find that my pheros don’t really get diffused well on my skin outdoors, since I’m wearing layers off clothing. So what I do instead is spray them on my hair (don’t spray on the pheros with _extra cops or eow_ though! it’ll stink real bad lol) and it gets out there really well and lasts longer than, when it’s on your skin (imo).

However, alcohol is not good for your hair though, it’ll dry your hair out and probably damage it if you don’t moisturize it regularly. So to prevent this, I use a leave-in-conditioner before spraying on my pheros. Which prevents the drying from happening 😉

When I’m all covered up by clothes (which is going to happen more as the winter months come along), I spray on my hair.

What I use to help the alcohol-spraying is a protein conditioner! It works wonders and my hair is soft and manageable. I can see the difference when I can’t have the conditioner, my hair gets gross and damaged so fast.

I think I have a leave-in conditioner lying around somewhere and if not I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy something yummy from Ojon.

Thanks ladies. Hair it is! (Now I just need an effin’ haircut.)
