# Duration of P74

Hey,

I have ordered a bottle of [P74](https://a314.com/product/p74/) (25 mcg/sp) and have been reading up about its effects on the forum. It seems that the effects of P74 don’t last very long, but there are opinions from 1 to 3 hours. What is your experience with this??

Part of the problem with [P74](https://a314.com/product/p74/) is we are still trying to figure out what it’s effects are. It’s hard to know if it’s still “working” if we don’t know what we are looking for…

So far it seems to be a “let’s hang out” type product (or as I called it, “I want to be with you.”). Figuring out when (and why) that feeling starts to fade in your “targets” is one possible indication of duration of that effect.

Plus optimum “dosage” amounts are still up for debate. I’m currently testing in the 25-50mcg/application range, but I haven’t had more than a few chances to test so far.

In my personal experience it lasts at least five hours probably longer. That might be just me and due to my chemistry though. I can say this because the stuff has such a marked and visible effect on those around me - that it is easy to spot if their “I want to be with you” impulse has worn off. It was still there - admittedly it might have been a little less potent but still very much there - five hours after application, just before I left and did stuff alone.
