# Duration of the pheromones in bottles

How long can you have them? Lets say the last batch was made by 1st May and I got that batch by the 1st June. How long do I have to use said product before it expires or starts to lose its power?

And how long do I have before I have to start shaking the stuff up to recombine the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) and whatever else inside and is this possible?

I am new here. This is my second post in one night.

I think as long as the bottles are exposed to sunlight, high heat, bacteria, or air for prolonged periods of time, they can remain effective for years. Most of the products here are in the spray form and some even contain anti-bacts. Keep them out of sun and heat, you should be fine.

Giving them a twirl every now and then wouldn’t hurt, nor would it be necessary. Unless, they are your own custom mixes containing oil and alcohol. By all means, shake or stir them all you want.
