well now… this is interesting because i was just going to get one. i noticed the number of posts is getting pretty big, so I’m just gonna throw this out there. from all your researchings, which is the best e-cig to buy? i personally don’t like the pen types, im more into the regular cigarette size. which smokes the most smoke, smokes best, and smokes reliably? you guys seem very educated in the subject, and i wouldnt trust anyone more than the phero researchers 😃 i was actually thinking (blindly) MyLuci, or Blu (blu because of the charger on the go), but im probably foolishly new to the whole thing. anyone want to help me out? 🙂 ---

Thus far in my experience and research, the dse-901 is a good classic model that is easy to deal with, reasonably priced and parts are easy to come by. This is the only model I have tried, but so far I am happy. ---

Just to echo SK, I really like my DSE901, too, though I also like my RN4081. It’s easy to get confused because the various brands have generic model numbers like these two, but some dealers rebrand them with a name. The 901 is an exception, as I haven’t seen it named, however the RN4081 is also known as the PeeWee, SuperMini, GOLD One, among others. I think I can speak for SK, Denec, and myself by saying we’re all still learning about all of this. We can recommend what we each have been using, but just like I’d send someone here for questions about Pheros, I’ll gladly refer you to the [E-Cigarette Forum](http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com)as that’s the most comprehensive site about them on the net. -D4 ---

I was also looking at the Janty KISSbox, as I have only heard great things about that. not being able to sleep, I’ll do a little research, chose a model tonight, and sometime this week (as ill be out of town) come back and let you guys know what I got. ---

Well i got my KR808D-1 my impressions, I got the one in White and it looks just like a real cigarette, you can find it in black from other sites if you really want it in black I got it from here [KR808D-1 Starter Set](http://www.justvape.us/innovape-starter-kit.html) Anyway…I got it for $29 there was a special at the time.. Batteries rock…vapor rocks..and throat hit rocks.. Downside - the flavor it came with SUCKS!!! It came with RY4, but it does not taste anything like the RY4 that Myvaporstore has…So I need to get some new cartridges until I get some I cannot use it, in fact it made sick…in terms of my stomach..I think it was just too sweet If i can find some flavors that are nice i think this will rock I hope ---

i ended up getting the dse901 mini-cig from totally wicked eliquid. i got strawberry and camel flavring and an extra atomizer. I saw someone (i think data) say something about them, and if you havent tried them out ill let you know how my experience goes when i get my package ---

I’ve only used the regular Tobacco flavor, but it was pretty good. Right now I’m using True Vapor Marlboro and 555 Blend. ($23 for 30ml) Both are great, however I should point out that the flavors claiming to be that of actual cigarettes do NOT taste like real cigarettes. Their taste is closer to what you’d taste sucking on an unlit cigarette, but with a throat hit. 555 tastes like a blended nut butter (think a mix of cashews, peanuts, and almonds), while the Marlboro is sort of a cross between an unlit cigarette and the prefilled carts that come with most e-cigs. -D4 ---

things do not look good for e-cigs [Cool, Refreshing Legislation for Philip Morris | Green Business | Reuters](http://www.reuters.com/article/bigMoney/idUS196848407620090608) great write up…and a shame shows how corrupt our govt is..tomorrow they are suppose to vote and will overwhelming pass this bill and give FDA total control over tobacco which means they have the right to ban certain cigarettes anything with flavor and more then likely e-cigs… it bullshit if you ask me..and all about money i tell you this whole country has gone down the shits…with us bailing everyone out..and finally found an alternative to smoking that will not kill us but because they will not make them money they have to ban it…i can rant and rant… ---

e-cigs contain nicotine from sources other than tobacco. So unless they vote to ban nicotine, and not tobacco, we are free in clear, under the law. ---

we will be alright. Thats one company- plus they apparently marketed as a safe cigarette, but nicotine is still poisonous… so they gave misleading information. at most, that company will be shut down. the world will NOT allow their governments to take about cigarettes from them. If that happens, a scene reminiscent to the american revolution will take place. ---

i got the guy in today, i think you were saying it hits like a thick milkshake, thats about right. I’m gonna install a tube mod next cartidge. but i was reading a bunch of the labels and they say ou shouldnt touch the liquids with your hands as it can cause problems… is this just government issued nonsense or do i need to get gloves to refill? ---

That doesn’t sound right. Mine draws so easily, it’s practically effortless. Just wrap your lips around the mouthpiece and simply _think_ about taking a hit on it and you end up with a mouthful of vapor. I think it’s just a general warning. Some people may be more sensitive to nicotine absorption than others. I can appreciate the sellers erring on the side of caution. As of the time of this post, there’s currently no labelling regulations for the bottles. Companies choose to put the skull and crossbones, “keep out of reach of children” and other various warnings on their own, which to me is good, responsible business sense. Certainly, what comes in a bottle isn’t going to kill you unless you’re jumping naked into vats of the stuff. I wear cheap latex gloves when I refill carts just to keep my hands clean. For dripping, it really isn’t necessary as long as you have a decent dripping bottle that doesn’t leak. -D4 ---

hmm after the irst few hits the atomizer got really hot, and was only giving out minor amounts of smoke. like really minor. enough to tell you it worked but not much more. i think its just the battery but have your guys’ atomizers gotten hot after only a few hits? ---

Well, first, to answer your question, yes the 901 atomizer can get pretty hot, especially if you’re hitting on it harder than usual. If you’re getting just a little bit of vapor, I’d say there’s an issue with your cartridge or the fluid levels in it. Try taking it out, dripping a little of your nic juice directly on the wadding until it’s saturated, but not overflowing. Next put one or two drops directly on the “steel wool” element on the atomizer (sometimes referred to as the “bridge”). Replace the cartridge and draw on it a couple times, no firmer than you would an actual cigarette. What happens with me sometimes is I’ll lose track of just how long I’ve been using a cartridge, and when it starts to get dry, I’ll hit it harder to try to produce vapor. Ths wears the battery down faster than normal, so if you’re not getting vapor, the first thing to check is your cartridge. Also, did you put your battery on the charger for 8-12 hours before using? -D4 ---

haha yea i ended up deciding it was the cartidges that came with the set, i assumed they filled them but it looks like they are only trials. good thinking with the atomizer dripping, im gonna do that right now ---

Also make sure that your atomizer is not clogged up. To check this, unscrew it from the battery and cartridge. Put your mouth on the end that connects with the battery, and blow gently. If it seems cloggy, rinse it thoroughly under very hot tap water, blowing out the excess water the same way, from the battery end. Place the atomizer on a paper towel with the cartridge side down, and leave it to dry. After its dry, and you try to use it again, don’t panic if it does not make vapor right away. It maybe still be a little damp. Give it another little blow to remove any excess water that may have gotten trapped, and try again. A couple of good draws should get it going again. You should do this regularly anyway, to prolong atomizer life. ---

how often are you guys changing carts? i am having to twice a day and i’m not smoking all that wildly. i thought each cart was like 7-15 cigs? seems like after 4 at best I’m having to refill to get any reasonable amount of smoke.
