Hi hi,

If this has been address somewhere, please point me to it, cos I tried looking for it.

I know the closer the better? For the different products in the store, is there a distance within which each product will still be effective? Or does it depends on individual, environment etc?

Or has your experience been that it always has to be close distances (not necessarily one-on-one)?

It’s funny, most newbies tend to answer their own questions… It definitely depends on your environment, humidity, air temp, air circulation, etc. If you’re in a business environment then your mone signature could be widely dispersed into other rooms and I’ve noticed people in those other rooms tend to find themselves wandering and trying to find the source.

Some products do have different ranges but on average the range is from 6-12ft.

Thanks for the answer!

6-12 ft…that sounds far…

If I may clarify, do both parties need to be not moving for at least a few seconds? Or do mones diffuse that fast?

I am having some difficulty imagining how walking past someone 6 ft away can spread the mones to that person.

Not doubting but trying to figure this out…

I did a search for you and found several threads about the range of pheremones. They all vary in opinion. Most posters agree that range depends on climate, air circulation…ect

This is the best answer that I saw:

> The “sillage” is the key, I think. If you’re more or less stationary, you could have a pherocloud around you; if there are air currents – gentle air currents – then your cloud might stretch along the current. If there are turbulent air currents, your cloud could be distributed chaotically.
>
> But suppose you’re in a space without heavy air handling equipment working. Also, suppose you are moving around, from place to place. Now you’re leaving a more or less coherent sillage “trace” that follows your track. Every individual you pass by gets a whiff of your trace.
>
> And don’t discount the pherocloud, either. You stand in place near the bar, and in five minutes the edge of your cloud reaches the door… someone walks in, and it seems impossible that they can ‘sniff’ you that far away, but in two steps they CAN inhale and from the beginning of that intake of breath to the end, they MIGHT sense a gradient that can pinpoint you as the source.
>
> Note that perhaps not everyone will be able to do that, but some people could have more acute noses than others. It might be a mistake to judge the capabilities of your phero-audience by your own sniffing skills.

I seem to notice different ranges with different pheros, and even each phero has different effects on different people. One girl may have no effect, but another girl may be feeling it just right. or, for more social pheros, it may work close-range and not far. yesterday, using ammo again, I used about 1.7 sprays. 1 to upper chest, and another to my abs. Both ti…

Of course this is with the understanding that it will be slightly different from person to person. Second, how does someone know who the source of the pheros is? I mean, there are so many stories here about people wearing the stuff and getting the DITHL as soon as the subject enters the room. How does the person being affected know that YOU are the source of the pheros? Does any…

In simple terms your phero cloud is about as likely to be detected as something a person can consciously smell like cologne or body odor. If you can be walking outdoors next to a person and still smell them then they can probably smell you as well and are likely getting exposure to your signal. Likewise if you walk past somebody and even after your several feet away you can still smell them (the breeze created by you passing them drags their scent along with you for a good distance) I’ve caught people walking past me in stores and malls only to have them stop and do a double take when they’ve gotten as far away as 20 feet.

That said standing in place within 8 feet is more ideal since the exposure is longer and has a better chance to take effect.
