Does anyone know what the effective range of [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) is? 5 feet, 10 feet? etc? Are they measurable or does it depend on the person who is being subjected to it? Thanks!

[An Introduction to Mones: Names, Size, Strength, Use, Effects & Duration](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/an-introduction-to-mones-names-size-strength-use-effects-length-of/43003)

Depends if you’re indoors or outdoors, and IME depends on the scent (FF21, FF22, [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/), Akuto) and your application points, faster diffusion (in volume) would travel farther IME. Typically its short like 3 ft in my experiences, however if I cover with other colognes, it typically goes out 10 ft or more.

Thanks P51. Certainly helps. I’m just curious how colognes would make it go farther up to 10ft?

If you get something with FF21 like [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) …

you will notice that the effects are noticeable at a further distance ..

FF21 is fantastic when it comes to distant hits .. it makes some trails in the air …

hit´s the girls out of the blue … fantastic stuff…

For some reason the sillage of certain colognes go farther. I have no scientific proof for this but whenever I cover the app points, I get the same [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) response from far away than I do close up. Only certain ones though, like Pago said FF21 has some great trail effect which you can reach others farther away. Neroli is ultimately close and so is Akuto to a certain extent.

Re: [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) - we describe it as a “halo” effect.

There are some things to keep in mind when it comes to range and diffusion.

Its not just the scent carrier its a combination or the scent the heat from your body that causes good diffusion so application points can make a big difference.

Play around with different points on the body excluding your pits and groin (because of bacteria) You will find points that work better for you and some that dont cut it.

Remember larger surface areas of the body produce more heat. For example your wrists have pulse points but they really dont heat up as much as your chest or the back of the neck. You could wear the same product/dose on your wrists and see no results one day and the next apply the same to your chest and see great results. Experiment.

Sillage as P51 mentioned can extend the range of your mones. Some colognes have great sillage and some dont however even ones with low sillage can leave the vapor trail. If your standing in one spot the range may only be 4 to 8 feet but if you are moving about you leave a vapor trail that leads to you. The effectiveness range can end up being much farther away.

Environment plays a role. In colder months you may find you need more product simply because you diffuse less heat.

If your outside and there is a breeze or wind you could be standing 2 feet in front of someone and they wont pick up the signal because they are upwind from you but the girl 20 feet away who is down wind picks up and it and follows the trail.

Following the trail to pinpoint the source is instinctual in us just as following the trail to the source or light or sound is. Its not something we consciously think about its just something we do.

As you use mones you will start to pick up on these different nuances. Be sure when you test to do so in different environments and with different application points. Many times people have trouble and think there mones are not working simply because those aspects are not working with them
