Help! My EOW arrived while I was away from home, and of course to be ultimately irritating my mother opened it,thought it was perfume and used a ‘drop’..she doesnt actualy have a sence of smell (weird I know) …so she goes and makes my dad smell it and theres like this massive uproar about how everything now smells like sweaty genitals, 🙄sigh so anyways after all ive heard about it I assumed it would be very pungent and enough to make you gag. Ive just got back opened it myself but it just smells kindof fruity and musky and not very very strong, is this weird, do you think the rents might have watered it down?😕 ---

I noticed this with my last few bottles. I dont think its watered down, LS is a good company. I think maybe more people are buying it and it needs to cure longer because I bought 3 bottles at once and the last one I used smelled to high heaven compared to the first one. The very first bottle I ever bought about a year ago was alot worse then the newer bottles. I had to keep it in a air tight container. These new ones I just leave on my dresser and no one seems to smell them. It does smell sort of fruity acidy in the bottle. I usually get a rotten grape kinda smell. On me it smells like rotten grape and stinky cheese. Did you or your Mom tell your Dad what was in the bottle ? I find it interesting he said “everything smells like sweaty genitals” Tisha ---

The forum reports on the last year or so’s batches of EOW have been very mixed. A few say their bottles are so foul and horrendously nasty they had to be exchanged, while most report receiving something mild and fruity, leaving the new purchaser to wonder what all the fear and loathing was about. Sounds like batches vary tremendously. My birthday wish this year is for Androtics to _finally_ release their own brand of copulins! ---

Oh thats not so bad then, im glad im not the only one with mildly cheesy, fruity stuff 😛 Im yet to try it, waiting for a good time to start my experimenting. Ive just brought some actual rose oil, do you think it would mix with EOW, or should I stick to an oriental/fruity perfume? Oh, and no I didnt tell my mother or father what it was, I think he might have just guessed, not realy hard though is it? xD ---

I would hold off on mixing EW with anything; it’s better to apply EW straight, let it dry down 15 minutes, and then apply perfume over it. Rose may work (especially since your bottle is milder) but the surest choices would be vanillic, musky or ambery perfumes. I don’t think your parents will have guessed what it was meant to smell like. Studies have shown most people have a hard time identifying odors without a context. Even the most common odors: if they smell roses but don’t have a visual clue to match, most of them can’t identify a rose scent. There are exceptions to this, of course! ---

sorry I meant mix asin apply as a cover, just wondering if the scents would mix very well or if anybody else had tried it, but thanks for the info, Ive just bought a vanilla perfume actualy and im glad I did (allthough last time I used a vanilla my partner told me I smelt like burnt chocolate, but his oppinions change like the wind depending on his mood 🙄 ) ..and yeah associating smells with what they actualy are can sometimes be hard, so it was most likely my father just being crude, allthough I think alot of people if told to be honest would say the same xD
