So I was reading a hormonal assay that said e2 is more potent and prevalent in women that are pre-menopausal whereas e1 is more prevalent in post menopausal women.
E1 as estrone e2 estridol and e3 estriol.

So I’m wondering has anyone noticed a difference between the varieties of est molecule?

Just wondering 🙂 Thinking of adding est to my notions and potions.

If you are refering to Meo-Est vs. EST, they are completely different in their function and effects.

There really is only one EST, **estra-tetraen-ol**. It is produced only during pregnancy. It has a protective, value-giving, cuddling, calming, and care-taking effect on men. Brain studies show that certain areas of men’s brains become highly active when exposed to EST. Women exposed to it showed no effect.

Meo-Est , **methoxy-estratetraen-one** is a bit of a mystery molecule. A search for methoxyestratetraenone on the web will not give much data, except what is posted in this forum and elsewhere as a pheromonal molecule. However, it is most likely a derivative of one of the conjugated estrogens, and my guess would be that it is derived from hydroxyestratetraenone. It does _not_ have the same effects on men that EST does. Do a search of posts for meo-est, however, and you will find a wealth of information on its effects, which seem to be mostly on women. Personally, I find it encourages a hightened libido for me, and makes me feel extremely sensual. And that is exactly what I’d expect from an estrogenic [pheromone](https://a314.com/) molecule.
