I am very wary of Meo Est. Its not a naturally occurring hormone/pheromone in humans. Its a derivative of equilin estrogen steroids found in the urine of pregnant horses and human cancerous tissue. Its used in estrogen replacement therapy drugs like Premarin which have been shown to cause breast cancer in women. Since women are the only ones who use drugs like Premarin there are no studies on the possible adverse effects on males.
My concern is not with the small amounts companies like AD use in there mixes. My concern is more with the amounts I see some users who are buying it straight using here in the forum I dont want to point fingers but you will see users using over 100 mcg’s to the skin. When pheromones are used in moderation only a minimal amount is absorbed through the skin. The higher amount you use in mcg the more that is absorbed transdermally. Since equilin in humans ( which Meo est is derived from) is only found in inflamed cancerous tissue this concerns me.
IMO this one has the greatest potential of being the case where something harmless when used correctly can become harmful with misuse or the “more is better” mentality.
I am not trying to scare people or discourage its use but if you plan to use it straight I wouldnt use this one to my skin, at least not in high dosages. I am sure AD uses it in some of there test mixes but after seeing the recipes Jasmin posted and the small amounts they actually use of certain molecules (sometimes 1.5 to 5 mcgs ) I think this is one best left to the experts to work with.
