Hey so it’s been quite a long time since I’ve posted on here, and I apologize for it. I’ve had a rough time for awhile now and just plain didn’t think about it. Well, I’ve recently gotten back into using mones and I’m pretty excited about it (as I was when I first started) but there’s a particular thing that keeps coming up. You see, it seems I get more people asking me what smells like urine than I do hits lol. I’ve heard it while using A314, AMMO, IS, as well as a couple others(especially IJ and TUTH, which is more understood). It’s rather frustrating you can imagine, as no one really wants to go around worrying they smell like urine. Also, I understand that mones have that kind of smell, but it was my understanding that AMMO, for one, is a cologne grade product (which I think smells amazing) and I wouldn’t have to worry about that too much. I’ve considered covering with a non-phero product, but then I worry about being “cologne guy” Help D: ---

Oh, woops, for got to mention that. I knew it was missing something. I typically would apply the base amount of one product, as I figure if they’re pointing out the smell at the lowest dose, it won’t get any better with more. ---

All the products you mentioned have -none in them, some of them in relatively high dosage. Androstenone is responsible for the urine like smell. I suggest you apply your base amount, let it dry and then put your favourite cologne directly on top of it (in normal moderation). No need to worry about being the ‘cologne guy’ then. Good luck and tell us if it works out. ---

Bizarre..because even when I use straight NPA I don’t smell that strong urine smell. In fact most of my products from Putatives to MX’s their cover scents seem to get stronger as the first hour or so goes by after application. ---

Many of them I think actually smell pretty good. But potential hits keep ending up just pointing out that something smells like urine (I get ‘cat pee’ a lot) ---

LOL ---

Hey man, I’ve had that problem too. No matter what mones I was using (IS, IG, IO, IJ) my wife said I smell like pee or sweat. Same way with regular colognes. Some mix well with me, while others wow…stay away. But as Bolkie pointed out, just use a cover scent from one of your favorite colognes after it dries down. ---

that “cat pee” smell is a subjective thing. there is 1 particular gene that has been identified that is active in a very small amount of women (about 5% from memory) do a google search along the lines of none and urine, you should be able to find the whitepaper without too much trouble. pretty much, you can’t really prevent that response by covering up the smell with colognes etc. those with that gene tend to smell it. ---

Well what kind of pee are we talking about? Tom Cruise pee? Kevin Bacon Pee? Or is it more like bum in the back alley pee? Or are you meaning more like asparagus pee? I hear pineapples are good for you. They make your pee smell great! Honestly it’s probably what Avroshift said, however it could be body chemistry. Does your sweat smell very acidic? Try drinking more water. If you have a juicer there is another test you can do. Juice a lot of celery for a few days. If your friends say they smell urine, get new friends. ---

You see, that’s what I figured it was at first, but there was such a high number of women telling me that I thought that couldn’t possibly be it. Unless pretty much all of that 5% of women live around me, I don’t get it lol. 4 out of 5 women that point out anything point at the the cat urine smell. ---

OK let’s try again, because I think you were posting when I was posting. Does your sweat smell very acidic? If so, try laying off red meat, eat more fruits and veggies. Drink lots of water. If you have a juicer try juicing lots of celery for a while. See if your friends notice a urine smell. If they do, then get new friends. ---

My sweat smells pretty normal, not particularly acidic or anything. ---

Well the night is over and it seems to have gone pretty well. I decided to on a single shot of IJ and cover it with a light cologne. I’m pretty tired but in short I had every server(all female) in the place talking to me, a couple compliments on how I smell, and just about every girl that was obviously there with a guy gave me a pretty heavy look at one point. I stayed pretty casual just to try and identify any changes in those around compared to the usual (I’m a natural ghost it seems without mones lol 😛). If I would have pursued any of them, I’m sure some better results could have been had. As far as self effects, it gave me a sort of attitude where I didn’t really care what anyone thought. I was checking out who I wanted to check out, as much as I wanted to, and no one was gonna give me any problems. Definitely had a chip on my shoulder. A few points I found myself being kind of a, well, a jerk 😛 Overall it was a pretty good experience. No one complained about the smell and I actually got some positive compliments on it, so the cover must have worked. Definitely falling in love with mones all over again
