I think that most of the slightly non-pleasant smell is the carrier DPG. I can tell a very slight difference between IH Extreme and Raw Power which might be the difference in the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) involved. I know that I have unscented experimones alphanol, betanol, and androstenone and the only one which smells really bad to me is the alphanol. I’ve read some others who said that Betanol smelled really bad to them. Never had anybody tell me I smelled bad wearing any of them. I would estimate that it is more like IH 2x…but it’s really hard to say, you have to be around someone longer than you do with the spray and I’m not really sure how to compare the effects. I mean if you are around someone for 15 minutes does it really matter if you are wearing 1x, 2x, or 4x? By that time the initial “phero hit” is being superseded by other factors. I tried my oil based [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) Extreme Version yesterday – after reading this thread. I had been wary of it because of the word “extreme”. I didn’t want to have to deal with verbal diarrhea when I had serious business to deal with, but you guys made it sound not so extreme. I like the idea of an oil based IH. It should have similar lasting power to A314, TAA oil and SoE which I often use. Yesterday I used 3 drops A314, one drop TAA oil, a few inches SoE, 20 mcg P74 spray and two drops of IH Extreme. This is fairly typical of what I will wear, so I should be able to notice and significant difference due to the oil version of IH. I usually wear two to four sprays of IH. I noticed a significant difference when I went to the coin shop. These people are usually all business. But yesterday they got real chatty. That never happens! Same thing with the chashier at the Vitamin Shoppe. People did not get annoying or clingy or anything, but they did have a lot so say about things that seemed important to them. The man at the coin shop got going about the shortage of silver. The cashier at the Vitamin Shoppe was talking about clothes, quality of fabric, costs. Nobody prattled on about the weather, but they discussed things where there was a common interest. Nobody approached me to open a conversation, but people whom I had business with did talk a lot more. Perhaps renny is right that the oil based does not draw people into your world as fast as the spray, but once a conversation was begun the IH Extreme was definitely more effective than a few sprays of the spray version. Perhaps adding several sprays of IO would help draw people in faster where that is a concern. At Starbucks and Trader Joe’s I didn’t have any occasion to begin a conversation with anyone and I noticed no difference. The strongest effects lasted at least three hours. I like this oil based Instant Honesty. I suspect it is going to suit me better than the spray. ---

I agree with renny that this oil version is alot weaker than the normal 4x version. I have been wearing it for almost a month (not everyday, just a couple of times) and i haven’t got any good hits coming from this product alone yet. I though it was just me… Im still trying and varying the number of drops. I usually wear it on my forearm. It smells weird, but not stinky 🙂 ---
